5 weeks TRT - Don't feel anything

You don’t wanna fuck yourself up for life. Trust a brother, your to young for self dosing. Like every one before mentioned. Go to a doctor asap before you do some real damage.

Hello,

21 year old male, have made the big choice to go to TRT. 5 weeks in 140mg TestC a week split to pinning daily, and I feel nothing. Maybe slightly extra fatigue, which I can't even tell if its placebo because I already suffer from low-t fatigue daily. Also suffer from low libido and low motivation.

When can I expect for mental effects to kick in?
Well if you are taking 140mg a week and see no benefit, you most likely didn’t have low t to begin with

I pin daily just for the maximum stability, I really don't mind as to me its the same as popping my supplements for the day. Just another thing a part of daily routine. I make sure to press a little extra down when pinning and don't lose any leaking.

As said will come back and update with blood test next week thursday/friday for the 6th week.
Hypothetically, if you were legitimately low T, and you obtained legit gear, you would definitely feel a difference after 5 weeks. Put it this way, I had low test, and within a couple weeks I felt noticeably better.

I'd be curious to see a blood test at this point, but keep in mind, if you obtained legit gear your bloods will indicate that. Be sure to test your total test, free test, and estradiol. If you have the finances pay for a sensitive assay, but not necessary.

Pinning daily sucks, but that's just me. I tried 3x per week and that sucked, lol. Twice per week is good, but to each their own. If you're concerned losing any just backfill a small bit of air. I do it w every shot.

If the results of your bloods indicate high test levels, I would follow the advice of everyone here and stop. Let your system get back to whatever homeostasis it was at prior to this decision. Then, approach your doctor, have a couple verifying blood tests, and ask for a referral to an endo. If you're 21 and have legitimate low test, I'd def want my doctor involved. There's more to consider, but there's no point in getting into it until you have your bloods.

At this point I feel hes actively choosing not to go to a doctor out of fear of not having low test and being denied actual TRT. This way he can just self dose with no one to impede that.

Man if you're really that worried and what I stated above isnt ths case. Then pct off. Test yourself with an LCG kit. Know for sure and if your test is good it could be an indication of another hormonal deficiency or abundance. If your health and quality of life is truly a concern. Listen to these dudes. I've learned so much from acouple of them. Take it from another young guy who used to "know what's best" for his body

But, I don't understand that. If he believes he has low T, then recognize that you're an outlier, and as you stated, the circumstances may be symptomatic of a more complex issue. At 5 weeks in, and at 21, I wouldn't even bother with PCT.

I just read that he has been suppressed from an oral AAS cycle. So, he could try a proper pct if one wasn't done prior. That's odd to hear, how long was that cycle? What did you take? Still, I bounced back without pct from a 6 month test/anadrol/primo cycle. I lost most of my gains, but I actually felt better and had no issue with libido or energy.

I'd add that he should get a full hormonal screen, as well as a CBC. Something doesn't add up. If I had that experience following a cycle I would have gone straight to my doctor. Just clear out your system and get the tests.

Will you be getting this upcoming bloods through your gp? B/c that will require an explanation if you cycle off to get this sorted out. Which you should.

Should have also mentioned I've had bilateral varicoceles from when I was young, which may be why I have low-t. No I would not consider surgery.

I'm beginning to think subq into the delt is the reason why even at 6 weeks now hasn't given me that "kick" that people get from testosterone.
It's been confirmed through blood tests some people don't respond well to subq, and get a lot lower readings. I even read someone got 300ng/dl lower pinning into his delt instead of his quad (IM)

Delays with the doctor, finally getting the blood test paper on monday, but am going to hold off until i get the "kick" from T. I'm leaning either towards experimenting subq stomach and/or subq into the quad for 2 weeks, or maybe up to 4 if I start to get the true T effects. Or just save all the trouble and pin to lats IM. Quad IM too many horror stories, not even going to bother. The next biggest muscle group to my preference would be the lats.
It seems it may not be absorbing into my system well. I didn't wanna have to go IM but seems that may be the way to go.
Will update again within 2 weeks

So are you still pinning? Why dont you do yourself a favour. Pct. Off. Wait a few weeks. Test your T. Know for sure. Then do it right through a doctor? If you truly think you have low T why wouldnt you do it that way? Aside from the fact that you're worried you wont come back with having low T

What size pin are you using?

So I did my normal subq this morning, but the whole day was thinking with 6 weeks gone by and feeling like garbage everyday, I'm just going to skip experimenting with other subq spots and just go IM.

Used the 30g 5/16's I have in my lat, made sure to go past when it starts to get harder to push entering the muscle, and successfully got my 20mg for my daily shot (extra 20mg today technically)

Hopefully next update will be with some big changes, and the next update after that with some bloodwork!
Yes, from there I will regularly do bloodwork every 3 - 6 months.

Thank you to everyone whos paid there interest, concern and support in this

I wonder if, due to the fact you still feel like shit after 6 weeks of pinning. That maybe the issue isnt low T.

Have you considered that possibility?

Yeah this has been pointed out a bunch of times already lol. OP is adamant that its low E even though he doesn't have any bloodwork.

If you were truly low T regardless if you went subQ, IM or even fucking gel after 6 weeks you would see some sort of improvement (or sides) in my opinion.

Yeah I'm trying not to be an ass. But why ask for guidance if you're just going to essentially tell everyone who offers it. That they're wrong.

It personally seems like he wants it to be T even if it isnt and no other possibility matters.

Young padawan @shanesheen Look up Occams razor. You've been pinning test. No change at all. Now that you've for the most part covered low T and still feeling like shit. Think logically. What is the most likely cause, is it low T or is possibly some other issue that you've refused to acknowledge?

Agree, 100%.

Pinning quad horror stories? Like what? Excellent absorption, two large areas in which to inject, so far less scar tissue build up relative to a delt, plus, if you're lean you can use a 5/8 without issue? I prefer quads, but I rotate to delts. I should do glutes, but the thigh is easy access. Right now I'm using either 1" or 5/8" between delts and quads.
Another reason I like quads is that it's easy to roll out the area, which helps with dispersion.

5/16? Geez, that's a shallow injection. Not sure why you are doing daily shots either. If you want to notice a difference try e3.5d.

I have never heard of anyone not absorbing via a delt injection. I suppose it could happen, but an IM injection is an IM injection. That how that shit works.

All that aside, as others have mentioned, if you are 6 weeks without any difference you likely have an unrelated issue, not low T, but if you continue you will get there, so there's that. Something doesn't add up.

Whats wrong with daily shots?

This is the second time in the past week across both boards someone has shit on daily shots.

Nothing wrong with daily shots. In fact I'd say they are optimal....stable hormones, less fluctuations, less estrogen fuckery.

The only cons I see are scar tissue (which is mitigated by using insulin pins and site rotation) or if you're scared of needles or its an inconvenience.

Many switch from subq to IM because it didn't work or work nearly as well, through the internet this is not talked about much. This specific post referenced is to someone who recently doubled there total T, raised free a bunch and had e2 stabilized from the switch. Pinning frequency was the same. In the comments some others confirmed the same thing happened to them after the switch. Someone who owns a clinic in the comments claimed IM is always superior as well. Have also seen others with the same results on internet research, youtube comments/discussions etc.
Read someone specifically today somewhere saying after a week of switching from IM to subq his libido dropped...

In order to believe this statement I’d need to know the pinning frequency sub q vs IM. And when bloods were drawn for each.
You could draw blood on a low swing fir subs and at a peak on IM and get these different results.
For example, he pinned sub q eod, well his total testestrone spike would not be as high as say injecting IM once a week.
Plus if he drew on his high point of his IM injection yes his estrogen levels would be lower because estrogen chases testosterone. But by the end of the week his estrogen levels could be higher than sub q because it was more steady.

Too many questions and info missing.

I have also found people talk when they think they have do e something revolutionary, but if it turns out to be no different, they never come back and revise their thoughts.
