University of Alberta fires anthropology professor for saying biological sex is real
The University of Alberta has fired Kathleen Lowrey from her role as associate chair of undergraduate programs in the Department of Anthropology, for saying biological sex is a reality.
Don’t forget he called small business owners tax cheats and increased our taxes, which in effect removed my pension plan. His next move is 10 paid sick days. That cost will be monumental. And what timing right after most businesses are on the brink of closing from the pandemic he responded slowly to and in effect helped to create.
I know most think we are super loaded, but most don’t work 80 hour weeks consistently year round. Never mind the extra stress and so on.
He has created division among us. Pitting regular people against business owners, immigrants against old stock Canadians, calling people racists, not inclusive and so on.
The carbon tax removes money from the economy which in turn reduces customer sending. So we were hit double.
Carbon tax on energy costs, so hit business in a third way.
Never mind the pandemic costs, because any party in power would have had them, the debt he was already incurring. It will need to be paid back
I am Conservative in thinking where I think people should improve themselves to improve society, but the conservatives have been fairly badly at marketing themselves. This is why Trudeau won and keeps winning. The liberals have proven that they can sell anyone to the public. Conservatives will not win until they fix this. Right now they look like a dad that will scold young people. They have a disconnect with the younger voters. This is really important because Trudeau just gave 15 year olds $2000 a month. They will be voting age next election, he will promise more, they will believe him, because they will not have the knowledge to think that they will be paying it back in high taxes as adults (just like we all did)
Anyhow their marketing team needs huge improvement. They need to bring in a few younger mps in specific areas where younger people live to create a connection and so on. Play the game, stop bitching so much. Steal the ideas that are good from the liberals and explain how they will improve on them and so on.
Anyhow this was a last night drunken thought. I really havnt fleshed it out.
Maybe we should help to figure out a plan to get them ontrack and be more appealing to not just the hard core conservatives, but to borderline liberals. I know it will suck to some that they will seem to lose their values, but what do values matter if you can never be in power to apply them.
Just like in business, you can believe you have the best product, the best service, but if the masses do not find you appealing you will never get anywhere. As an example, I have had a few people wishing that I would make my shop a speciality shop, catering to very specialized products. Thing is there is no money in that. What is my shop? The same as every other place you can buy meat, just better quality, better tasting and more selection. We win by being local, and having a cool atmosphere, so we appeal to the majority of people. Being a specialist shop would have been cool, the people that wanted it, would be massively loyal, but there wouldn’t be enough of them to be profitable. I have also imitated a lot of my competition over the years, taking one of their best selling products, improved on it, or repackaged it then slowly eroded their sales.
So dies it kill me to have to use catch bullshit words like, ethically sourced, artisan made, small batch sizes, yes because it’s bullshit marketing crap, but like how the liberal party use it to win, it drives sales.
Here is is where the liberal members can chime in on why they don’t vote conservative, how they see the party, not just a specific person, and maybe we can formulate a plan.

Yep conservatives really shit the bed the previous election. But I already knew before the votes came in libs were going to win again, just cant fix stupid I guess. The countries massive bill continues to grow and someone someday will have to pony up for it, wont be the boomer generation Ill tell you that much...

After Notley and Whynn I’m not sure if picking a woman would be the best thing. Even other woman think they did a horrible job and killed it for woman. Well the ones I’ve talked to anyways.
Mind you Ambrose ( I believe that was her name) would have been great. She has guts, but somehow with a technicality Scheer became leader because she wasn’t allowed.
The sad truth is the liberals will get it next election as well. The only reason he got into his seat to begin with was legalization of marijuana. It brought out the youth voters in hoards.
Sadly the immigration in which he has amassed will contribute to a majority vote for the Libtards for many years to come. We need to stop immigration, and start focusing on our own people.
I am on the strong side of Canadian Pride. But it's becoming increasingly difficult to speak highly of my homeland.
I'm happy there are a few of us left who are not brainwashed by the tweaks. Stand strong gentleman because we are the filthy few, and if you have children raise em right, raise em smart & raise em strong.

I couldn't agree more. I look at how much government he has forced or coerced under his control and wonder when the 4th Reich will begin. Having an extreme narcissist as president was the worst move the Usa has have made. A lot of the deals that he's screwed with the world need to be fixed or the world is just going to isolate the toxic infection.
Just look at how he's dealt with the protesting. Things are so much worse because he mentally does not possess empathy. And that holding the Bible Stunt? He looked like he was holding a snake.

This drives me crazy, when you meet an immigrant that comes from a country that you know sucks balls compared to Canada and all they do is beakoff about how great their home land is... so go back home, I'll buy your ticket. And while you're there tell everyone how bad Canada is so they don't come.
My parents are both immigrants, moved in the late 70's from the same country but they met here. They renounce their home land with pride and my father lays out in his yard on a lawn chair in the sun, butt naked tanning, and laughs at how he can't belive how incredible of a country this is. His words are that if he stayed 'home' he would be dead or in prison.
And you realize that ite Canadians produce about 1.7 children per couple, right? As in when 2 parents die, the country loses population and ability to grow. They are forced to have immigration or as a country we fall further and further behind the world as far as growth.
But you gotta wonder why so many people are refusing to have kids these days.. I can think of a few reasons

I don't think the argument is what the flag was intended to stand for. Rather what it has become. The Swastika was used as a symbol of divinity and spirituality, it originally was intended to bring good luck. Unfortunately, Natsis changed that, and it's now impossible to ever use that symbol again for what it originally stood for. By the mid-20th century, the Confederate flag began to symbolize white resistance to ending segregation laws. The Ku Klux Klan flew it at lynching parties and angry mobs waved it outside public schools as black children enrolled. The grip by white supremacists is something that has carried forward to this day. In 2015 Dylann Roof killed nine black people in a church in Charleston, before this he took a photo of himself holding a Confederate flag. So while I can definitely understand that the flag doesn't mean this to you, it definitely does for others. Similarly, if you saw someone with a swastica tattoo, your first thought wouldn't be "Hey, a symbol of good luck"
