What did you eat today

Can’t go wrong with that lol. I’d be hitting more eggs and def whole wheat toast (prefer whole grain but I’m cheap)
I don't diet  I am 5'6 200lbs and don't have a 32 inch waste :ROFLMAO:. find it hard to eat more than 3 eggs in one meal or my house stinks like cheese

Meal 1 - pre-workout: 2 eggs, 1/2 cup oats, 1/2 cup bluberries, 30 grams vega sport protein, 2 tablespoons of raw walnuts, 2 cups of coffee with cream.

607 cals / 35 grams carbs / 33 grams fat / 47 grams protein

Meal 2 - post-workout: 4 eggs, 6 oz lean beef, 1 banana, 2 glasses of water.

605 cals / 33 grams carbs / 23 grams fat / 63 grams protein

Almost every day is the same for me, as I am currently down to 2400-2500 calories cutting (another month of cutting tops).

Meal 1: 1 cup instant oatmeal w/ 1 scoop whey, and one cup of 1% milk

Meal 2: 4 cups of 1% milk

Meal 3: 1.5 cups rice w/ 6 ounces of deer meat

Meal 4: (pre workout) 1 scoop whey, and 1 cup of orange juice (not together lol)

Meal 5: 1.5 cups white rice w/ 6 ounces of deer meat, and whatever random veggies or bit of fruit or pickles.

Macros end up looking something like: Carbs: 290g , Fat: 35g , Protein: 210g , Calories: 2400-2500

Currently losing about 1.5 pounds a week, getting down to the nitty gritty.

what does deer meat taste like?

There are a few factors here, the main one being how well the deer was taken care of from field to freezer. As well as cooking methods. I can slow cook a deer roast, and most people wouldn't be able to tell the difference between beef, or it being deer. Low and slow, or fast and hot. You reallllllly want to try and keep it as rare as you can handle, safely of course.

Another factor is what the deer was feeding on, the time of year the deer was harvested, and the age of it. A deer feeding in a farmers crops will taste different than a deep bush buck, who's in rut.

Most people prefer elk / moose. As deer generally has a bit more of a wild taste to it, but it's a taste I've always appreciated. Grew up on it. The deer I harvest in my part of the province, have meat that has a slight taste/scent of clover/wild flower almost, sort of hard to explain.

I wish I got into hunting. Now legally I’m not allowed to own or operate any type of weapon
