Testosterone Decanoate

OK this may ruffle some feathers but here we go....

First off I dispute that we should be using 15 days as the half life, that may well be accurate if we are just looking at a single dose in isolation but that is pretty much never the way we are looking at it. IMO we should be discussing Terminal 1/2 life as that is what is relevant if you are trying to figure injection frequency or when to start PCT. I think I laid out my views on the subject fairly well here -

If you do not accept that premise you may as well stop reading now because everything from here on is based on it.

As such I generally would accept the numbers provided on the "About" page of the https://steroidcalc.com . Decanoate shows 7.5 days, I have seen other sources that say 7-12 days here is one -https://academic.oup.com/jcem/article/90/5/2624/2836761 . Another point is that the steroidcalc program displays mg's released daily which I find ambiguous at best, I want to know what the actual levels are in my blood plasma. This can be swayed by many factors such as carrier oil used, size of the bolus, qualities of the tissue receiving the bolus etc. I find the steroidcalc program just fine for a quick and dirty visual representation of what's happening but it has it's limitations.

The spreadsheet I use and prefer predicts the following blood plasma levels, each number reps a daily value, I worked them out so they come in near your trt levels but you'll have to make the final decision of course

T-CYP 100mg/7days (5 day Terminal 1/2 life):
1251 ng/dl1089 ng/dl948 ng/dl825 ng/dl718 ng/dl625 ng/dl544 ng/dl 1251 ng/dl1089 ng/dl948 ng/dl825 ng/dl718 ng/dl625 ng/dl544 ng/dl

T-DECA 160/12days (7.5 day Terminal 1/2 life):
1265 ng/dl1154 ng/dl1052 ng/dl959 ng/dl874 ng/dl797 ng/dl727 ng/dl 663 ng/dl604 ng/dl551 ng/dl502 ng/dl458 ng/dl

T-DECA 200/14days (12 day Terminal 1/2 life):

T-DECA 170/14days (9.5 day Terminal 1/2 life)(splits the difference between 7 & 12):
1231 ng/dl1144 ng/dl1064 ng/dl989 ng/dl919 ng/dl855 ng/dl795 ng/dl 739 ng/dl687 ng/dl638 ng/dl593 ng/dl552 ng/dl

As I mentioned there are already a few sensible answers here that would work just fine, this is just an attempt to help you find your preferred range.

PS- I drank a little bit for the first time in eons tonight, there is a possibility I will edit the fuck out of this later :)

So essentially 140mg Test D every 10 days to get equal blood plasma levels of 100 mg test C every 7 days?

if that where the case it would seem that the 100's of labs using it as one of the testosterones in test sust would be wrong. possible but seems unlikely
Weird, I rarely see labs use undeconate, genetec would be the only one i know of and its in the T400. Sust would normally use deconate which is much shorter and better absorbed imo

Just take your daily dose and divide by the days. 100mg÷7 would be 14mg a day x10days= 140mg. Of course if we wanted to get technical the ester weight actually takes up more on deca

this product is test decanoate and not undeconate.

Basically correct, in fact I almost was going to write a post with the message being K.I.S.S. and the same example you used. The trick is/was trying to stay within the same ranges (to avoid sides or need for ancillaries for example) while giving some realistic, working injection protocols. Not every protocol will keep you in the sweet spot.

I always like to jump right to an extreme example to illustrate the point -

T-DECA 1400(14x100)/100days (7.5 day Terminal 1/2 life):
7400 ng/dl (Peak day) then down to 300 ng/dl (Day 36) and 100 ng/dl (effectively zero?) by day 47

@gondar1 most of those iterations look somewhat close is that a fair observation?

Yessir, that was the idea. You'll need to decide for yourself what you believe the effective half life will be (7.5d FTW IMO) and then decide on a protocol, these were meant as suitable possible options for you. I think any of the 4 options I showed or any of the others that other posters suggested would be good staring points. As per usual pulling bloods would be the best way. Bloods at peak and trough would be the best way to know what's what.

So I’m a few shots in and things seem status quo which I’d say is a good thing. If I had to report anything it seemed for the first couple shots the first week felt better than the second week but that has tapered off.

I should also add completely painless.
