Hey all,

Anyone clarify what the difference is between a regular wall needle and a bevel tip needle. I think I know from looking through online searches, but not totally sure.

Also, are all needles leur lock? This one place Im looking at doesnt seem to say if they areall leur lock, but Iknow my syringe is and want to be sure they'd attach properly.

Thanks!

I have no idea what a regular wall needle is. It sounds like a blunt tip needle. Which you definitely do not want. A bevel tip is the kind used for injections.

Not all needles will be leur lock. Some are slip tip needles where they just slip over the syringe end.

Just go to buyneedle.ca
Great prices and things are described properly, no guess work involved. I've bought hundreds of needles from them.

Tks bro

I may do that. Ive ordered from them before. They are great, no question! I was just looking for bit more variety. Try some diff sizes/brands.

Man they've got anything I've ever wanted. What are you looking for specifically?

They've got multiple lengths of any gauge you could want. Maybe they were just out of stock

I been using 25g 5/8 and was thinking of going to 26 or 27g 1/2 inch for quads and delts. But I wanted Terumo brand. The BD ones Ive used, just arent as sharp. IMO.

I completely agree with you about the terumos. Look for leur lock insulin tips. You may find something. I use 25g 5/8-1" for anything above 1ml. Anything below I've been using 29g 1/2" with ease

lol. thanks guys. ive been using BD for like 20 year. maybe its time to try a different pin

I wouldn't go less then 25g. They are painless. If you go smaller, the benifit of a less painful jab are wasted to the fact you have to push so hard on the plunger and take 2 min to get 2.5ml out of it lol.

Also for quads definitely stick with 1" for sure.. unless you are super lean or on the small side.
5/8 may work but I'd bury it hard.

Also look at trying the vetral glutes as an injection site. Imo the least painful.

Good luck.
