Yep! This whole situation in Ontario has given me time to make some big life decisions. My spouse is American. So I sold my house And will be moving to Michigan come August! Will still be be working in Canada until 2023 though.

Once I’m settled in Michigan we are heading to Mexico for a couple weeks to look at real estate and start building a condo/house!

Fuck Ontario! And fuck Doug Ford.

I haven’t followed any protocol ordered by government.
Sometimes I’m the only guy in superstore not wearing a mask. Even my wife walking with me is to afraid to not. But literally 20+ visits and not one word been said to me about it other than odd person who joins me. People are pussies. Cowards. Stand up. Be free. Or it’s only gonna get worse.
 
I am glad to see people are looking at serious life changes. Please don't forget about them if things start to get better.

Erin O'toole is complete garbage. Conservative party has turned into a right leaning liberal party. They have zero chance iof winning now, Trudumb will be in for the next decade.

The economic impact to Canada will be staggering in the coming years. All this spending and inflation is going to end badly for many.

It is obvious the government is trying to control what you think. You need to be mentally strong and make a move in your life.

I do not miss Canada. Actually the more I am here the more anger I feel toward that country. Some things I do miss of course. I will try to come back this summer for a while, but know it wont take long before I want to go back to Mexico.

Yeah. Under 1000 cases a day in Ontario or they want to stay locked down. Are they fucked, or are too many people making extra money during the closedown with covid pay.
I know our local health guys income doubled, and will be half once it’s over. Kinda doesn’t want them to have this end.
I’ll be super surprised if they go back this year, super surprised. It’s almost over, only another 6 weeks or so.

Alberta will be the first province to open again for good. Like Texas. Kenny is pushing as hard as he can for it.
Now yes he’s doing it thru the vaccinations, bug at least he’s trying.
Fords sucking Trudeau’s cock and we will be locked down for years. And it sucks for others. I’m doing really good, and want to thank the Ford government for helping me be able to move to Mexico when it’s all over.

You know it’s crazy because you got all these Mexican refugees fleeing Mexico, and tons of immigrants coming to Canada from Mexico, because they say it’s shit. I’ve worked with a lot Mexican guys who refuse to ever go back.

They’re escaping poverty, and they have unlimited opportunities here. But moving to Mexico, especially if you’re white is pretty fucking brave. It’s extremely dangerous there

There are complete areas full of xpatroits that is within gated communities.
There is defiantly super dangerous areas, just like anyplace.
There us some scary ass areas in Toronto.
I lived in Edmonton when it was murder capital fir a few years, people shooting each other in Boston Pizzas for the drug trade.
It’s all where you live.
I’ve been frequenting the forums like here, but for people like me who moved to Mexico.
It even shocked me how big of a white population there is.

Can't compare the most dangerous neighborhoods in Canada to Mexico, it's a completely different breed.

If you like fly fishing I recommend Argentina. Rainbow Trout and Brook Trout were introduced to their rivers and quickly became the apex predators outcompeting all indigenous species. I've watched videos and they are beasts. On top of that it's a beautiful country, and their health care, if I'm not mistaken, is top notch.

My friend, you hit the nail on the head! We spent a few months roaming around Argentina from north to south - camped and fished on the Rio Negro, messed around in Buenos Aires and Salta...I felt like myself. Overlanded in an old Land Cruiser and made some great friends.
