Biden will be better for Canada in a lot of ways. Trump has been bullying Canada.
Mail-in ballots are valid insofar as they are post-marked by Nov. 3. The postal service was overwhelmed with mail-in ballots, but every one had to have been post-marked by the deadline. There was no deviation from that. Many states did not permit mail-in ballots to be tabulated until after the polls closed, and since a large number of democrat voters vote by mail those were added to the totals as the counting continued.
The republican's presented motions to judges for observation, and were granted. Historically, mail-in ballots are far more likely to be invalidated because of one of several possible errors. If the security envelope isn't used, if the signature doesn't match, if the ballot isn't received on time. Every single ballot received is from an eligible voter. Ballots aren't mailed out to make-believe people.
The main reason that mail-in ballots were tabulated after the polls was that in many swing-states the legislature was controlled by republicans who refused to allow the counting of mail-in ballots until after the in-person voting tallies were complete.
