Hey guys, I'm curious to when you all start taking taking your AI when starting a cycle. Cast your vote in the poll and speak to when and why.

I start mine with clomid on day 1. Reason is because one time I didn't bother taking an ai for 2 weeks and I developed a small lump under the nipple. I was able to get rid of it with raloxifene though.

I dont use one but if I did it would generally be either off sides or if bloodwork showed it super high in relation to my T.
Same - have never needed an AI yet. Due to the fact I don't know which one I will react to better I have Aromasin, Arimidex and a SERM on hand at all times.
I almost pulled the trigger a few times but was told to wait for my bloodwork by a person with more experience and I'm glad I did. My estrogen and prolactin was in perfect range.

You take clomid right off the bat on cycle? @HGL? With your AI? Why
My body does not tolerate aromasin or Arimidex! Feel like crap when I take it. Nolvadex causes me major lower back pain. Clomid seems to be the only one to control my gyno and my body tolerates it fine! So I have to use a serm as an AI. And since I developed that lump after only 1 week on cycle lol I decided to just start taking clomid right from the start. I cannot tell you if it is the smartest thing to do but I don't want another lump haha!

Just goes to show you how different people’s bodies are… I’m sure there has to be another way; have you tried raloxifine?

I have never yet understood how to use them. They dont sound like they are good for me. Also, how do I know I need one? How do I know its working?

I used Nolvadex on a cycle of 400NPP/400Primo/400Test E/50 mg daily Tbol (8 weeks).

I started 1 pill a week after week 8 and kept it up till the end of 20 weeks. My skin was pretty oily and my sleep was shitty after week 16. This was all guess work BTW.

I stick Masteron or Proviron in all my cycles now if I go above 500mg a week. No problems yet.

My last bulk was 8 months using just Test/GH with 25 Proviron EOD all the way up to 1100mg Test P/E a week and down to cruise 50 Test P EOD. Nothing more then a few zits. I gained a very solid 20+. I was 139 at the start. My BMI is back where it was and I`m 165 lbs.

I started experimenting with all this when I was 60. It will be 2 years in November.

I have every AI they make on hand and lots of it, including Pfizer Caber. Just never used them yet.

Will I ever need them?

I have only done 4 cycles now. I am sure its just lack of understanding.

1st was test cyp 500mg a week for 16 weeks. Then the above NPP cycle. Then Test/Tren/Masteron/Helios/CJC-1295 DAC and Ipamorelin. Finally the latest bulk Test/GH cycle.

I generally go for 20 weeks or more it seems.

I am open to any helpful manuals, books etc...

Something doesn't sound right. You used Ralox, so why not just run a bit of ralox? What do you mean by you don't tolerate it? Did you crash your E2? I can relate to feeling like crap, but I ran into that when I took it too often or did not need to take it. I strongly suspect you took far too much, or took it too often. If you are prone to high aromatization the appropriate amount of an AI is your best bet. That's exactly what it is designed to do. Clomid is not an AI, and it does not get rid of the estrogen. The same goes for Ralox. What do you do after your pct when your E2 rebounds?

Fwiw, I'm not a fan of using an AI, been trying to get away from using one at all. But, I took a tiny bit of aromasin today ~2mg, b/c I've had insomnia, high bp, no appetite, headaches, and no libido daily for the past week or so. I've been taking a small bit of cialis daily as well, and nada.
I've been trying to allow my system to self-regulate, but it appears I will have to reduce my trt dose to 100mg, or go back to eod. I don't get much in the way of gyno on low dose. After showering this afternoon I was sweating like a pig for a good while, which, for me is a definite sign of water retention. Along with the other symptoms I would rather take a tiny bit, reassess how I am feeling, then if still off in a couple days take a bit more. It beats feeling like crap. That strategy has worked for me.

I'd prefer to not take any.

Absolutely I love ralox! Got rid of a lump recently lol. But clomid just seems to be fine for my use. Yep your right every body is different! I'm learning that through researching and experimentation lol

Hey bud if it’s working for you; and everything’s on the up and up, nobody can tell you otherwise … unless those numbers on your blood panel start subtly climbing without you noticing any physical changes. This is why bloods are always important. Speaking of I need to book my mid cycle bloods soon

I thought my system would self-regulate, but I'm either dropping back to 100mg from 110mg, or going to eod. I don't get much in the way of gyno on low dose. After showering this afternoon I kept sweating for a good while, which is another sign I've noticed.

No my e2 hasn't crashed. I feel tired, lethargic my libido goes to crap, my legs feel heavy, just overall crappy feeling. . Only with Aromasin and Arimidex. So clomid seems to be gentle when I use it, it prevents my gyno and I don't have those crappy symptoms. And yes I use ralox to treat the gyno I had.

Would you choose ralox over clomid if it was you?

Definitely. Clomid has more nasty side effects. It's an older medication. If you experienced fatigue, loss of libido, and in general irritable and felt poorly then I'm certain you took too much. You may not have crashed your E2, but I'm betting you knocked it down hard.

I don't know how much gear you were running, or how often you took the AI, but I have a lot of experience with taking aromasin, and those sides are exactly how I felt when I took it when I didn't need to, or took too much. Clomid can be used to treat gyno, but definitely not what I would choose.

Exactly man. I could try someone else's protocol all day long but doesn't mean it will work for me! I feel fine on clomid and it prevents my gyno.
