Primo 2020 run

Hello all. I just received the little package below for my next cycle. Primo/proviron/test.

This is going to be a long run of about 20-24 weeks of about 300/400 mg of primo a week taken EOD. I'll take proviron at 50 mg ed. I'll run it for the first 8 weeks. Take 8 weeks off, then run it for the remainder of the cycle. Test will be at 250 mg EW. After which I'll 2 months off. (Trt dose of 125mg of test EW.)

I'll start my cycle Monday and run it to about October.

This is a nothing crazy cycle. I felt like I ran a bunch of things last year as I was testing products and it was harsh on my body and at times counter productive to my goals. This year I'm back on track chasing those slow lean gains.

I feel fairly good considering how much shit I've been eating over the past few months, so I'm primed to be looking fantastic by summer. Which for me is what it's really all about. At 51 I don't care about being the biggest guy or the strongest guy. But when I walk in the room to still turn heads and be the guy every woman wants to fuck.

It's going to be brutal with my work schedule. There will be many long days on set. Some of my workouts will have to be in the middle of the night after work, or at sunrise before work. Either way... no excuses.

It's going to be a journey. It's going to be somewhat unconventional as well. As I age my flexibility and dexterity diminishes. So I'll be incorporating various things like yoga, massage therapy, etc and will keep you posted in those areas as well.

I'll attempt to be as accurate with my diet as well. Logging my food. I'm not really a macro counter anymore or a strict calorie counter either. I've been doing this long enough what to eat and what not to eat. But more importantly, with age, there are some foods you simply can't tolerate anymore. Your body doesn't digest them well. So ill be talking a lot about that as well.

Look at this log as more than my experience but a conversation into training, diet, gear, sexual health, mental health, and one's pursuit of a goal.

I think everyone should log their experience. It keeps one honest. And on track.

Look out for the first entry on Monday.

will be very interested in your results as it is similar to what I will be taking again, just not the proviron.
will be following if you post updates.

What are your thoughts around adding the proviron? Benefit over just test/primo. If this is a be a "healthier" run are you concerned for proviron being notoriously harsh on HDL?

I have never run proviron for that reason. I have a training partner that ran it with his TRT last year and after 6 weeks it cut his HDL in 1/2. He is 54 and it took almost 6 months for the HDL to return to previous level.

Not critiquing my friend, just interested as another elder statesmen.

Thanks for the reply. To be honest, any and all side effects are of a concern for me. Cholesterol issues isn't something I have an inherent problem with nor is it an issue I've had previously.

Thanks to a friend of mine who competes I've been introduced to a doctor who specializes in AAS use and I'll be sure to be monitor my HDL and LDL levels. The one article I have read stated that 100mg of proviron daily for six months had reduced HDL levels by something like 35%. I wouldn't ever run it that high, but I am aware of it and will include my panels in this log.

25-50mg ED is more than enough for my needs. And I'm certainly not running proviron for 6 months straight.

I'm currently running a similar cycle but using var instead of proviron.I have proviron and may switch it up.Now this might sound strange but I've used proviron in the past and it doesnt impact hdl at all.Now considering I use low dose crestor may it helps me out that way.Even when I tran tren for 6 months at 100mg per week hdl impact was nil.

Primo at 300mg per week is amazing after about 1 month on it. You have a nice long steady cycle.:)
You will love the lean tissue you put on your frame.

I'm pretty stoked about it. I've been running tren for the past few years now and I've finally gotten tired of the sides. Oh, I can deal with them fine. I simply don't want to. Besides, I don't need all that tren does now that I've gotten to where I am.

Also, I want to feel good on this cycle. Slow and steady sounds just about right at this stage. Besides dieting down for summer, my training and AAS use are tailored more towards tweaking more than building or full on recomps.

Oddly enough my best progress this past little while came when I wasn't obsessed with calories, the scale, or how much weight I lift. Crazy how that works. Dialing things back may sound counter intuitive but it really does work.

Oddly enough I follow the Rock on Instagram. He's in the gym at all hours due to his schedule. I figured we're in the same business, that I too, should have no excuses if I want to be in the 5% club.

True enough but it’s not quite apples to apples. I know for a fact the Rock’s iron paradise goes with him wherever he is and he would have a personal chef making all his meals. I actually think you have it tougher tbh.

Ill be keeping an eye on your posts ..i love this cycle primo and test ..i run primo and test prop..1cc eod ..great cycles.

Probably. But it's okay. At then end of the day it's worth it. People think I'm crazy. But I'd rather not miss time in the gym. Selfishly its more than working out. It's the discipline of it.

Nice to see you doing another log, always interesting in seeing your progress and learn from you!

I'm sure you'll love this kind of cycle and it will be a smooth ride compare to Tren.

This cycle is on my to do list for the next year.

You'll love that Dracorex Proviron if you haven't run it yet, been 5 days i'm out of it and i'm already missing it. Was doing wonder to my libido and well being.

Everything you posted is right on track.
Keep your diet tight.
Massage therapy is a godsend. I go every 2 weeks, wish I started earlier. Then I also do yoga 2 times a week at home.
I feel more bouncy when I walk and jump on and off things now.
Btw, I train at 8:30 at night. If work has been extremely hard I’ll take 8 mg of ephedrine as a preworkout. Then I can still sleep by 11. So you can do it.

always sacrifices to get what you desire ..

good luck.

I like the look of your run, will be following your updates.

Absolutely but if he was wondering why his lipids were unchanged on orals and was taking a statin at the same time, it is an easy 1:1 relationship.
After reading about statins, and my wife’s mother getting global amnesia from them, that was when I started to use coenzyme q12, because statins deplete it. Actually in some individuals to the point of causing issues with proper heart muscle contractions.
plus they are not really convinced that they reduce your cvd levels, but do know that after a heart attack, it relaxes the heart wall muscle and may reduce a second incidence.
My belief is as long as you keep your lipids within range for the majority of the year, no need in worrying about a temporary loss of hdl and raise of ldl.
My last blood test my hdl was low for obvious reasons, but my ldl was really low, so my doctor stated that they are more concerned with the ratio, and it was fine. My father has always had high ldl, but his ratio is fine as well, and when they checked his arteries before he had heart surgery to repair a valve, they stated he was completely clean, and not to worry.
I bet a calcium score test would be the best predictor, before using statins. If you are clear, why take on other risks?
But this is just my thought.
