I use a very firm roller quite often and it definitely helps me.
I need to get back to my rolling stretching and cardio as my body just functions better.
I'm thinking it may aid my back and hip flexibility.
It appears I may be purchasing a roller of some sort. Thanks, guys.

....said Dr Baumgart.....In his opinion it is clear today that foam rollers cannot substitute manual therapy to loosen tight muscles. "A physical therapist or massage therapist is able to treat a patient in the appropriate physiological direction of movement. He becomes aware of any tension of the body against his movements", he explains.
I use mine all the time.
Also if you want another great tip, convert your jig saw into a percussion massager. It is even better than a foam roller.

I’ve beaten the shit out of them for 2 week, they are built very well. That's a great tip, I was wondering when somebody would start making those attachments, might have to buy a set.

Also I just hose clamped a short wood handle on the handle of my jig saw so I could lay down and massage it.
Lol how old are you? If you were boxing in the 60’s - your older than I am.Man, that was in poor taste.
