Very hard top five to select as the competitor list is pretty stacked. However I think Iaian has got so much momentum behind him and keeps getting better each show, that's why I have him for the win. William Bonac is the defending champion, however he apparently has switched coaches this prep and I don't know if he can nail it on the first outing. Sergio could be higher than fifth as the word is he has added more muscle but I follow him on Instagram and he seems to have a lot going on right now in his personal life, plus I believe it is his first showing in 2 years. I think Nick will be top five but I don't see him getting the nod over Steve Kuclo if Kuclo is improved from the Texas Pro.

I realize Terrance Ruffin was second to Bumstead at the Olympia, however with his coach passing away and his surgery, as well as his recent updates, I don't think he will be as good as he was last year. I have been following Bryan Jones closely this year and he looks incredible. Again, some high level competitors here so it should be an interesting one!

Wonder if Iaian Valliere will even compete after his wife got busted ,hmmm thats got to be stressful.
 
Im second guessing my picks now. I think nick could take this if he comes dialed in and has the judges on his side. His back dont even look the same.

Rolly needs a year to regain size...if he can at his age....mid 40s right?

The top 5 guys look really sharp with latest update pics - Akim, Sergio, Nick, Iaian, Kuclo. Saw a pic (not sure if recent) of Bonac with REALY bad gyno.

Not holding out much hope for Roelly to regain which is a bummer, always like that about him. I never understood the Bonac love, nor Curry or Rhoden actually. Overated IMO, just an opinion in the end though.

Not a bad darkhorse pic, I fear his back will keep him from the trophy though. Lats are a little high and lack thickness. He certainly is not lacking thickness overall though. Muscle bellies are great, round as hell, arms might actually be too big compared to the rest of him.

PS - Swung? lol
 
Still the best lineup coming in a fair while despite these losses. I'm more interested in this one than i have been in a long while, this could be a better comp than the O coming up

Agreed! I also kinda like how it's only mens open, classic physique and one female division. I can watch the livestream and not have to sit through 3 hours of bikini and mens physique.
