That's quite a cocktail lol. I'll have to give it a tryDayvigo just came out recently and it works better than the stronger ones available before but those had great abuse potential.
Dayvigo literally can make me fall asleep standing and even the strongest drugs they give to psyche hospital patients who are losing their shit will just make me relax.
I take it with mirtazapine, 10mg melatonin time release and sometimes the supplements GABA, L-thianine, and prescription tryptophan because it's free compared to 5-htp. Just those supplements alone work miracles.
Every doctor recommends trazadone and if it works for you then it is fantastic. It makes me feel depressed and groggy the next Day, doctors argue me that it can't actually do that but it's happened to everyone on my mom's side of the family and also other people have mentioned it too. I feel fucked up when I wake up from it, same with the Zzzquil or other stuff that is just part of the cold medicine that makes people sleepy.Ive heard Trazadone is one of the best sleeping aids available (non habit forming). Doesnt affect REM cycles. Some people might get lower BP from it though causing lightheadedness in the mornings. Fiancé already has lower BP and this cause her to pass out a few times after standing in the mornings.
I wouldn't recommend the mirtazapine as it does cause people to binge eat at night plus it's harder than it should be to get off for what you get. I mean 7.5mg or less isn't too difficult to get off. I could actually use dayvigo sporadically so haven't had trouble there but it just works too good like you know how certain medications they say you can't take while driving but you know you could take a Tylenol 3 and drive just fine? Yeah, this one you can't lol. That's quite a cocktail lol. I'll have to give it a try
I've been on lemborexant for 2 years and have had a very similar experience. Before I was on 30mg of tempazepam and 10mg zolpidem together and it only helped relax me. But with lemborexant I will actually feel sleepy within maybe 45 minutes and have never had to increase the basic dosage of 5mg.Dayvigo just came out recently and it works better than the stronger ones available before but those had great abuse potential.

*If you're going to go with the dayvigo you won't need anything else. The supplements alone are good enough to replace prescriptions.
Can you do online or Tele health doctors on the phone? I'm sure if we can get trt and hormones through the phone you might be able to find sleeping pills somewhere, I don't know what the laws are around it but it might be easier and worth while to even pay a private doctor. I've just never done anything private other than trt.I was prescribed zopiclone about a few years ago. Never took more than 1/2 my dosage, 3.25 of 7.5mg tab; addictive AF, even when used EOD.
My circadian was wrecked by years of night shift. Though, I’ve never been a good sleeper and struggled from childhood to stay asleep, never sleep in, and naps are non existent in my life.
Zopiclone worked really well, slept like a rock.Fast forward to 2023 when my Dr. quits his practice and becomes a hospitalist. Scrip expires and now can’t be re-filled without a Dr. On waiting list of patients without care and the province is at least 8 years behind schedule. They’ve just started on the list from 2016, before our massive influx of migrants.
Go to a walk-in they say. Can’t be seen as they limit the number of patients per day, only open a few days per week. Line ups around the building, even in remote rural clinics. Try to book online, they don’t open the system until 7am, fully booked every time by 7:01
Hooked on sleeping pills, no way to ween off, no way to procure meds. Great Canadian health care…feed you pills, make you dependent, tell you to figure it out. The first two months were brutal.
I want to say never again to their pills, but there is a real urge to source them again; kinda of scary.

Tired through maple but they wouldn’t prescribe, told me to go to a walk-in. No private Dr’s in my area of the country. Can you do online or Tele health doctors on the phone?
