Wow this post was a while ago .. lol

Just thought I’d re introduce myself real quick. Like I said father of 3 , 45 years old now and bodybuilding is a passion of mine now. Way more than when I joined 5 years ago lol.
Well when I joined this site I looked like the first pic185 skinny fat, and the second pic was this morning . 227 lbs fasted . I’ve been reading and learning here along the way and maybe thought it was time to post .

wicked job! You may want to start doing diastasis recti exercises. It will help to pull your abs back together in the middle.

Thanks bro!! Or I could start working abs in general lol.
I may be wrong, but when you do triceps push downs, does the center of your abs push out a bit like its tenting up? Or when you sit up in bed, it will poop out in the middle.

If so then normal ab exercises are not recommended. You want to take care of it before it gets too bad if you have it.

How I stretched my facia in that area was because I would push out with my abs to increases my strength and never wore a belt. It worked really well to increase my strength.

My personal favourite lift was a 320lb whole moose front (so the smaller moose was only cut 1/2 so the whole front had the whole front Half of the carcass) I lifted off a trailer by myself and carried about 25 feet into the cooler to hang on a hook. I weighed 140lbs at the time. I had to get myself angry for that one. Think of dead weight lifting a 300+lb human off a couch and carrying him, lol.

I have lifted heavier in the gym at a higher bodyweight, but that is still my personally most prized lift. The guys dropping it off commented on how 3 of them shit their pants putting it on the trailer. It blew their mind that I carried it.

My first hernia was done soon after that lift, lol.

If it does tent, don’t worry, corrective exercises (that are super easy) done daily will pull them back together, and it improves the look of your abs. I do it laying on the floor watching tv before bed.

Just passing on some info because I didn’t I know what it was and ignore it for years and will take far longer for me to get it pulled back together if I can ever get it completely back together. Just the look of a bit of space in your abs had me thinking. If not, ignore me, lol. It could just be a shadow in the picture.

Either way you still look fucking awsome.
