Things witnessed with your eyes at the gym

Possibly a cultural thing, not all but some of the Indian men I see daily smell very bad and I've been told they think it's feminine to wear deodorant like it's a perfume, it's probably a regional thing. Some people just smell worse than others, I've been told that my armpits don't smell, I do shower daily and I almost never wear deodorant, I just don't need it but i do own deodorant and keep it at work, in my gym bag etc for times I think I smell although my girlfriend says I'm just being self conscious. I can't believe that some of the smells coming from some of these guys could possibly be that bad if they were indeed showered it's incredibly offensive sometimes.

It's actually crazy how everyone's body odor differs person to person

You do see tendencies though... Like east indians body odor tends to smell similar.. north american white men body odor tends to be similar etc.. I'm sure its due to diet or similar

Fun fact: If you want to figure out who the biggest douche bags are in your gym, just hang 1 heavy bag right in the middle of the gym..

Went to a gym once that was a great gym for lifting... one guy asked owner to put a heavy bag up.. fuck me the shit you'd see people do to that bag lol.... some would do it in a busy gym.. some wouldn't touch it unless they were the only person in the gym (security cameras showed) lol...

I'm not knocking people using a heavy bag, but for some reason when its in a lifting/fitness gym, it just tends to get douche bag usage.

I have been working out at home for ages due to starting my own company, short on time and not wanting to drive to the gym, shower, change, and then off again.
I have a decent home gym, but nothing like a good gym. I bought a membership to my old favourite gym and it wasn't the busy time, but once again I was baffled by the sights. First the attire women wear has changed - little unpadded bras with no t-shirt so nipple central. then little shorts that leave nothing to the imagination - the shorts could not go up the back or front any further. Not being a pervert and I don't stare as I don't want to make anyone uncomfortable but fuck me - the shorts are so short there is no question about anything.
Then I saw the old regulars doing their work - great guys, normal, friendly, happy to help me find equipment as they moved everything around. It still has the douche bags who don't go the MMA room with the ropes, heavy bag, tons of room but prefer to show they can bring their knees straight up and use the standing calve press and make lots of noise. One guy decides to use a rope tricep hooked to the wire just as a speed bag lol. They have pads in one room where there is a small group that help each other so they could have easily went in the private room and not disrupt the gym or use the standing calve machine for 20 minutes. Respectfully, I don't claim to be a tough guy but if you want to use your knees to hurt someone bad - it is in the hips. Knee up to what you want to hit and thrust with the hips, these guys just wanted to pretend a person stood in front of them and they would bring their knee up to their chin I guess.
It hasn't changes - I am still surprised they let these douche bags do this.
Anyway - best push workout in ages with all the equipment. Back today to do a pull workout unless I am too sore and if so, will just do forearms and abs.
Anyway, not much has changed - great guys, some douche bags, but boy the clothing has changed for women. it was eye opening, but I made a point to ignore them.

/What gets me and the wife is that it seems the new clothing trends apply to all body types... The skinny ones to the ones who are obesse wear the same thing...

Don't; get me wrong, I love seeing horribly out of shape people get active and I love seeing them successfully drop weight, but man I don't wear specifc clothing because I know it doesn't look good on me even if i wanted to wear it..

I'm on the fence with the new womens clothes... We all love seeing women's skin lol.. But on the other hand I find it disrespectful to members to wear it because it can make us feel uncomfortable.. I don't want to stare.. I don't want to make them feel uncomfortable, especially being mid 40's and they are 16 and up.. I try not to stare, but sometimes you feel like when your walking around you have to stare at the floor so you can be mistaken for sneaking a peak... don't get me wrong, most women who wear that stuff actualyl want the attention.. but maybe not from all guys?

I belong to a pretty small gym sq ft wise. Its busy no doubt. The thing that I find offensive are the folks who have come in after a night of really heavy partying and clearly are wearing the same gym clothes from several days. Whoa its nasty.

Yeah some gym clothes leave little or nothing to the imagination. I get uncomfortable sometimes it is so revaling. I am 66 and healthy libido. Too healthy!

watched a clip of dorian today stating gyms are not gyms anymore.. He said that no one is sweating.. he said its bs gyms these days tell you no noise.. he said when your lifting heavy and pushing yourself as hard as you can, you;re going to scream and grunt.. he said no one puts effort in at gyms anymore, but they sure want to look like they do..

He's right...

And sadly, "gyms" have disappeared and replaced with planet fitness, goodlifes, fitness facilities etc..

All the real gyms are privately owned, but they are disappearing it seems.

The gym I used to go to there was this short middle aged guy (50’s I’d say) who was the ego lifting final boss.

Every time I saw this prick, same dumbfound, shitting eating grin on his face pumped to max out everything.

The highlight lift of his that I saw was maxing out the seated plate loaded tricep dip with 7 plates/side. At first I gave the benefit of the doubt and thought he may have been training his serratus anterior or some shit but no…

Guy’s ass would raise half a foot off the seat while heaving down onto the weight barely moving it 2”. Aside from that buddy’s go too was the pin loaded machines, max em out and 1/8th rep it.

I have a picture to prove it...

A few weeks ago I was lifting and I can see the guy who spends 45 mins a day swinigng the broom stick around like he's Jackie Chan walking across the parking lot with a very long and skinny soft black case with a shoulder strap.. Picture a soft carrying case for a pool cue and make it 3 times longer.. I stood there watching him walk across the parking lot into the gym.. I couldn't help but think he fucking went out and bought a real bow staff to practise with instead of the broom stick and he's bringing it into the gym to use.. Although it was my first thought, I also thought no fucking way he's that clueless and no fucking way will the staff let him bring a weapon into the gym and whip it around as he moves diagonally across a room that accounts for %25 of the total gym space in a way that no one else can be in the room with him..

But fuck me.. that's exactly what he did..

Everyday he now brings his own authentic bow staff into the community recreational centre gym and pretends he's Bruce Lee or Jackie Chan for 45 mins in one of the big rooms where many people do free weights, stretch etc... And the staff just let him..

To be completely honest, the room he uses is just off to the side of where the free weights are.. So in general, most women and older people generally grab the light free weights they need and do their workouts in this room.. THere's adjustable benches, mirrors, matts, bands, pre weighted barbells etc in this room..

Its just fucked...

He's also upped his intenstity with the staff.. He does full body spins while whipping it around, whips it behind his back etc..

I got a picture of him carrying his staff intot he gym in the black bag..

The bag looks like this

The bo staff looks like this, but his is wooden and brown.. It tapers down at each end.. deffinitely not padded.. my guess is his is 5 feet long

He does this type of stuff... He doesn't yell or scream, but he does the spins and whips it around, jumps and lands in attack positions etc.

I fully understand there is some serious skill involved in it and I know its something that probably takes years to master and be good at.. But fuck me he's doing it in a community fitness facility that is supposed to be used for weight lifting, cardio machine, stretching, areobics and spin classes etc.. Not to mention he consumes the space of the room to the point most people won't go in the room when he's in there. It's just not that type of gym.

I like this video. I want to get her in bed now.

I would speak with the gym staff, or leave demanding a refund if they didn't correct him. I am pretty sure if I saw this once, I wouldn't be able to keep my mouth shut. Either they are scared of him or just don't care - either one is not acceptable. If you are scared call the police.
Even the guys who practice air boxing and kicking in the reverse hyper, dead lift, open area, are asked to go to the MMA room, but most of the gym can't see you there. There are ropes, pads, a heavy bag, and lots of people use it. It has bikes and a whole section for MMA with a door to keep the thudding of the ropes and hitting/kicking the bags low for the rest of the gym.
They gym allows some banging of weights/grunts/noises as there are some serious guys there, but what you just described would not be allowed even in the MMA room. You can bring in your own steel shot gloves, wraps, pads, etc. but no weapons are allowed lol.

Has anyone not complained to the staff?

It's funny, we HAVE a combat room... boxing, jujitsu etc are done there.. but you hit the nail on the heal "but most of the gym can't see you there".

I don't know why none of the staff say anything to him.. He's not a scary looking guy.. he's actually 5'2" and not big. I talked to him a couple times about 2 years ago.. he's a decent guy, not a dick and seemingly normal... At the time he was trying to build a client base to personal train and he offered to take me on as a client??? He doesn't lift weights though.. its odd.. he does hand stands, stretching, pilates etc.. He does everything at the gym except lift a weight.

I'm shocked no one has reported him yet... But to be honest, I bet he's been reported and the higher level management have talked to him and are "working with him" to make sure everyone's happy.. This is the way this fitness facility works because it's tax dollar funded and the staff are all adult females or teen male and females..

Attention seeking Whore IMO...Got a Circus Clown like this in my gym with a curled mustache doing one hand stands on benches and all sort of acrobatics to show off wearing 80's style short-shorts (Really Short). I laugh at him on his face but he don't give a fuck, just smirks and the rest just ignore him...It's Goodlife, I know, I get what i pay for, I'm just saying It as a Rant, That's It!
