Methylene Blue??

Thats my point though.. there's no credentials to google searches without a study done or any type of proof given.. AI is pretty bad for some things I have found.. good info for some stuff, but I've found enough garbage/inccorect responses froim AI that I feel like I need to fact check everything it spits out. It can be a good starting point, but for right now, thats about it.

I used AI to make a math exam once.. It came with a answer sheet as well... all good until I realized many of the answers were not correct.
Same, as we've discussed before I think. At least it apologizes and says it will try to do better I guess.

Yes you would think something like a math test, or solving simple equations would be it's domain.
But that is the area in which is is just most easily seen falling short.

AI is a misnomer, as it cannot reason at all. LLMs are not much different than repeatedly hitting the "suggested word" appearing when you're typing a message on your phone, creating something reasonable sounding but devoid of meaning.

When people get enthusiastic about AI,
I recommend they spend time asking about a subject they are already expert in. They will quickly realize it can do nothing more than repeat "average" drivel it mines from the internet. I first noticed this when it was messing up simple stoichiometry by orders of magnitude

Knowing this,
use the same level of suspicion for everything else it replies to on subjects you're not familiar with because one won't necessarily be able to identify when it's going off the rails.

I won't even use it as a starting point anymore. I only use it to compile subject matter on topics I'm already versed in, and to summarize and link to papers, studies etc.
Otherwise I spend more time questioning and fact checking everything it says than I would just researching a topic myself.

Maybe that’s where my grandsons teacher is getting her exams from, lol.

One question started with.

You have a gas tank 7/5th full,

Then it went on to where you needed to figure out how much was left after driving.

I just couldn’t get past the part that the tank was 2/5th fuller than full, guess is just suspended in the air, lol.

You are obviously not trained in the dark art of filling all the hose all the way right up to the cap

If you ignore the hard fact that you can not fill a gas tank 7/5 full and just use the fraction as given, the question is doable lol.. Not a logical or reaosnable question, but doable...

If I made something like that I would add a bonus question like:
1) "why is this question not a logical one"... This would actually help test kids if they truly understood fractions.

OR more simple
"Draw a picture of a gas tank filled to 7/5".. again it would get kids thinking..

OR a higher level question using 7/5 of a tank:
"I was going on a road trip that has no gas stations along the way... so I knew I had to bring more gas than my tank would hold.. MY tank holds 100 litres.. I knew I would need 7/5 of a tank of gas... In fraction form, how much of this fraction would go into the tank and how many litres would need to be stored in a jerry can?"... Kids would have to convert 7/5 to 1 and 2/5... so most kids would think they need to fill the Jerry can 2/5 full, but thats not true.. they would need to calculate what is 2/5's of 100litres and that would be the amount needed to be put into the jerry can..

AI can not make those type of extended thinking questions.. I've tried and it doesnt. I make them by hand

That was one of 4 things on that particular worksheet. 3 others could not be completed as they were completely flawed. Kinda makes sense now, she likely used AI, lol.

probably... not going to lie, just like every other jobs, there is some serious lazy useless people in education... Don't judge them all by the actions of one though.

I took it for 3 weeks bought it off a company I buy all my peptides from which are all amazing and 99 percent of the products do as they say and perform as they claim , But the methylene blue well I was kind of alot disappointed , so it's probably all Hype or 100 pounds of Sizzle for a 2 ounce steak

Let’s get this thread back on track guys

I don't. I remember in school I had really good teachers and some crappy ones.

    • Studies suggest methylene blue may improve memory, attention, and overall cognitive function.
    • It may achieve this by increasing levels of brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), a protein involved in learning and memory, and improving mitochondrial function in neurons, enhancing oxygen consumption in the brain, according to Drugs.com.
  • Neuroprotection: Its antioxidant properties may protect neural tissues from damage, offering potential benefits in neurodegenerative disorders like Parkinson's disease and Alzheimer's disease.
  • Mood and emotional well-being: It may support mental health by modulating neurotransmitters like serotonin and dopamine, potentially reducing symptoms of depression and anxiety, according to Tringali Vibrant Health.
  • Mitochondrial health and cellular energy:
    • Methylene blue can improve the efficiency of the mitochondrial electron transport chain, boosting ATP production and reducing oxidative stress.
    • This can lead to increased energy, focus, and endurance, according to King's Pharmacy and Compounding Center.
  • Antioxidant properties: Methylene blue neutralizes free radicals, which can contribute to cellular damage and aging, according to King's Pharmacy and Compounding Center.
  • Anti-inflammatory properties: Methylene blue may reduce inflammation, making it potentially useful for conditions involving chronic inflammation like arthritis.
  • Improved blood flow and circulation: It may enhance blood flow, optimizing oxygen delivery throughout the body and supporting cardiovascular health and recovery.
Well I have recently revisited Methylene Blue and have changed my stance on it. So far, over the past 2 weeks, I have noticed a massive increase in mind muscle connection...every workout since I started it again has been outstanding. Getting pumps in muscle groups I have previously had poor mind muscle connection with (ie biceps ). Ill see if it continues over a 6 week period and then revisit this thread

What concentration do you use and how many drops a day do you use, everyday?

Met a guy with a blue tongue years ago who said he was taking it. Mostly for mood. I think it affects mitochondrial stuff too. There are a ton of things people can take for better mood but I feel like it's a bandaid solution. I'd rather see people use these things than hard drugs or alcohol daily, so if that's the alternative then it's probably a case of pick your poison but I'd view it as temporary and then find a really good psychologist and keep an open mind.

When you overdose Viagra, the hospitals inject Methylene Blue to dissipate the erection. I'm good with not experimenting with it & I don't see much on its supposed mitochondrial function enhancing benefits. My two cents.

I did read benefits with regards to red light therapy in a controlled setting.
