Doing a bulk and all going well, up around 10lbs with a little extra fat - not much. I ate very clean, meal prep most meals - focus on ground meat, veggies and white rice to do most the heavy lifting for food. Seems to agree with me well.

Well one Friday night I said fuck it, I'm bulking and went hog wild on Mcdonalds - which is maybe a once every few months kind of thing. That night I was super nauseous, had to take a gravol to prevent myself from puking. It felt like that meal sat there for 24hrs. Burping the next day, uncomfortable - sick feeling.

The next two weeks I've had zero appetite. Every meal has been a real struggle. Slowly feeling like I can start upping calories again.

Is this normal on a bulk? I was at 245lbs(down 8lbs), which for me is the highest I've gotten. Feels like my body just said, this is where we stop.

on 300mg test / 300mg primo / 300mg Deca - which I've done 2-3 times without issue. But recently dropped the deca to rule that out.

Any advice on how to break through the barrier? Trying to get to touch 250lbs before hitting a cut.

I can't do bulking anymore, to much food messes up my stomach. Junk food is the worst for gut issues.
You can take digestive enzymes, they help me out.
Ginger caps can help, but i personality like Bromelain from pineapple.

Few ideas

Do some fasting. Either just smaller daily fasts or a full day.

Do a mini diet for 2 weeks to give your digestion a break.

Don't eat McDonald's again 😅

Pulling back for a few weeks to start bulking again isn't a bad thing. 1 step back to make 2 steps forward

I'm currently 'maintaining' but I usually do 1 or 2 days purposely lower Cals a week for this purpose

If anything for the first few hrs every day just drink water and don't eat anything

These are just a few quick ideas. Alot of knowledgeable guys that will chime in

lol this.

Take this experience as a lesson learned to not eat like an asshole. Literally no benefit to eating this garbage besides the mental stimulation. And was it worth it at the end of the day? Doesn't sound like it.

I have a soft spot for McDonald's but it's absolute trash man lol

If I ever eat, it's maybe 2 doubles nothing crazy like I use to 😅

Sorry for the multiple posts. Just started work 😅

I know your focused on hitting 250 but that might not be in the cards this time around.

No point of gaining weight just for the sake of it.

McDonald's equals guaranteed ditch shit.

Bring extra socks if we're ever road tripping together......

These days I'm mostly an 80/20 eater....aka I don't pay attention to things like I used to. My goals and perspectives have changed. I eat properly with more focus on overall nutrition and definitely not for muscle building.....but I live too....and indulge in life where reasonable and that includes some pure dirt....

Regardless of that.... McDs is ALWAYS a hard no! Especially when you're clean eating and then drop the equivalent to an atom bomb on a completely unaware digestive system....always gonna be bad bad news!

If I eat a McDonald’s burger now I can’t make it out of the restaurant without diarrhea. Can still tolerate the chicken wraps but rarely eat it.

I can still remember when McDicks was good.

I bet I eat a double quarter with cheese a couple times a month, and regret it every time and don’t know why I do it.

Mainly because I just don’t feel like cooking and most take out stuff is shit. I cook 3 meals every day from scratch.
