It's usually a long wait on death row, so he'll get a taste of that too.
The argument can be made that life in jail may be worse, why does almost every death row person try to get life then

I doubt it. It wasn’t a professional shot. First of all I looked at the video in slow motion and you can clearly see the bullet hit the bullet proof vest and ricochet into his neck. This was not a professional shot. The sad part is based on my personal opinion is that it would not have been a kill shot if he wasn’t wearing a vest under his shirt. Makes it even more sad. It’s so upsetting how there there has been disturbances even at his vigils by the left. À life for a life isnt against Christian values. I’m usually the first to call conspiracy theories. But in this case I don’t think it is. The evidence they found line up with the events.
I pray to the lord all mighty that the death of Charlie ignites a much needed revolution. Fuck the left they need to go down. If we can’t do it with conversations then it’s time to fight fire with fire. Fuck them all. Fuck the woke. Christ is king and his will will be done on earth as it is done in heaven.

It's not a professional shot... They said high powered rifle.. Truthfully, any rifle is high powered if that means they can kill someone from that distance (200 yards). Anyone whose gone to the range a few times could kill a human at 200 yard with just a 22. The guy used a bolt action 30-06..
It ain't hard to hit a body at 200 yards. Infact most hunters could probably hit a golf ball at 200 yards.
Point is, shooter really wasn't "skilled" in terms of difficult of shot or equipement. I could take my wife to the range for an hour and get her to the level to make the same shot in the hour.
I am not sure if it hit the vest.. Some say yes, some say no. If it did hit the vest, %100 the guy is a not at all skilled. Skilled shooter would aim for the head, which again, is not a difficult shot.
The skill the guy seemed to have is getting into position and then escaping.. How the fuck did he manage that? Unless there really wans't much security other than on stage. I read lots about Charlie saying he didn't want bullet proof glass because God's will is God's will etc.. I wish he had bullet proof glass. God's will is God's will, but I really wish he had more security and protection.

As far as the other stuff. I'm not ready to kill someone for not agreeing with me. Don't think I ever will be.. But Im good to go on people who are so radical that they will kill.. But how do you identfiy all those radicals before they act? Some make obvvious signs.. But many just don't have enough signs to act on..
I thought lots about this and I honestly can't see all this hate ending.. I can't see it ever ending.. and I think that makes many people and many groups happy.. one would even wonder if it was created intentionally.
You are correct with regards to this likely being not a professional shooter, however,
trained snipers tend to target body mass shots, not head, although in situational cases they may. Shot was not difficult distance wise with that caliber, but if taken from a large elevated angle, that would require some calculations outside of what would learn from a range. Again, so close not much, but definitely makes a difference. There's also the stress of the situation to take into account. That can be huge. At the end of the day, vest spalling/fragmentation or direct hit, the 30.06 is not to be trifled with if it contacts a target.

I dont see any evidence of him wearing a vest. People keep claiming it, but you can clearly see nipples.

He used a 30-06 which over 200 yards would drop due to the flat shooting profile, he 100% was aiming for the head in my opinion. I use a 30-06 for hunting and if I'm shooting from a decent distance I typically aim higher on the shoulder due to the drop. Had he aimed 3-4 inches higher he would have taken the side of his head off.
I see this ending in one of two ways: amicable divorce, or violent separation. I hope it's the former, but history says it'll be the latter. In any case, I agree with you @animal-inside , the hatred isn't going anywhere. Indeed it will only get worse.
As for Charlie, he was well aware of the danger he was putting himself in, but was brave enough to push ahead with his message:
I had a larger reply written up to your post, but I deleted. I just don't care or want to talk about the schematics of the situation. Don't feel like talking about guns, bullets, ballistics etc.. Either way my point about the shot was really just I don't think the guy was a trained sniper/assisn etc.. Given that, I don't think the situation goes any deeper than some asshole with a fucked up brain with a gun. No conspiracy, no higher involvment etc..

It feels good seeing all the people coming together for moments of silence, prayer etc.. Much better then seeing riots. Charlie wouldn't want the riots, he'd prefer the way people are moving forward right now. The movement is getting bigger, but I hope it keeps the same tone.
It's to see people who totally disagreed with him calling for respecting the situation and joining the prayers and gatherings.
But ya, all the shit is never going to end.. I just can't see it. The world is literally on fire. I know people will say the world was in turmoil during the cold war, veitnam etc.. I agree the world was scary back then, but I think this pure hatred on our own homeland is going to be much worse.

My sister was telling me the same thing, I did not see that actual shot myself, so I can not really say for certain.
30-06 is pretty lethal ... more powerfull and bigger than a 308....I agree he would have blasted his skull for sure
