Bandit’s 2026 Off-Season Log

every thought about using a sensor instead? i know it’s much more expensive, but i personally hate poking my finger to check my gluc (just at work for fun lol.)

Tried the CGM a few times. Couldn’t get the thing to stay in for more than 48hrs. They don’t seem to be designed to withstand a sweaty training session 😂
i know some diabetics add some adhesive around the sensor to keep her on there. i want to say it’s similar to tegaderm, but i could be wrong. i know on amazon they sell ones for specific sensors.

This week was a pretty big shit show.

Came down with whatever flu is going around on Wednesday & have been down and out since. It feels like the worst of it has passed, but I can tell there's still a couple more days of recovery left. Definitely the nastiest flu I've caught in recent memory.

Overall though, not that upset about the timing. I was due for some time out of the gym and have a hard time doing so without something forcing me. Also, being a down period in the push, makes it feel a little less like lost time.

The body is confusing as hell. For the past 3 days, I've been stubbornly getting my meals in with no appetite & my only energy expenditure has been getting up from my bed or couch to go to the kitchen. Despite that, my weight is dropping at pretty rapid rate. Weighed in at 219.2lbs this morning. My bro science logic tells me that the increased body temp from the fever is probably ramping my metabolic rate way up. Also body is dumping a ton of water through sweating because my body is running so hot.

Hopefully things keep heading in the right direction and it's a smooth transition getting back into the swing of things.

My grandson and wife caught the flu and they were horribly sick. I somehow managed to not get it.
Must be something going around right now.

They felt the same way.

About 90% recovered after 9 days of being sick. This one has been brutal. Still struggling with some residual nasal congestion, cardiovascular system is lacking & appetite is blunted.

Back in the gym for 2 days now and body's coming back to life. Thought I was going to have to ease back into training in terms of loading but turns out CNS didn't down regulate too much after a week on the couch.

Body weight: 224.0lbs

Excited to be back in the gym and counting the days till we start pushing again!

Your shoulder especially the rear delts look really good. I cannot for the life of me get my rear delts to grow.

Body weight - 225.0lbs

Training has felt ON this week so far. The time out of the gym definitely paying back. Crazy enough I'm still fighting off some congestion. From what others have told me it sounds like I have another week of it. Nonetheless feeling pretty awesome.

Had my bloodwork drawn today. Spoke with my coach and we agreed if the results come back acceptable, I'll start the next push when I check in next, which is next Friday (Feb. 20). I'll post the results here for anyone interested.

Overall very happy with how this cruise has went.
- Spent the time resetting my appetite (I'm back to being ravenous most days)
- Worked through some gnarly lower back pain that was stemming from bound up hips. Implemented daily hip stretching and foam rolling. Back to training legs with next to no pain. As a bonus, putting my shoes on isn't a massively painful chore.
- Got my sleep schedule back on track. Back to waking up at around 7-8am instead of 12-1pm.

I know some are interested in the blood work so here it is.

Overall, nothing unexpected however I did have hopes that it was a little cleaner.

Here's my quick analysis:
- Blood counts good
- Kidney markers good
- ALT elevated as usual. If we've been interacting for a few years you probably know this is a common theme on my bloodwork. Tried everything under the sun to bring them down. Always ring in at 80-100, on and off cycle.
- HDL not terrible, however I'm typically always in range or slightly below. Rest of the lipid profile is solid.
- A1C elevated as expected. Managing my blood sugar on my rebound cycle was an absolute nightmare. A ton of GH and a ton of food is a recipe for out of control blood sugar. I definitely found the upper limit of how much GH and food I can push and still manage it. Without a doubt it will be down drastically in 8 weeks from now. Not concerned.
- Estradiol reading is the one thing thats making me scratch my head. I've never rang in that high and considering my protocol, it doesn't make any sense. Also not symptomatic at all where I normally would be with high estrogen. I'm thinking there could have been an error in testing? Can nandrolone throw the standard testing off?

Yeh isnt there something about 19nors throwing esrogen markers off? At those levels you would be growing some nice titties no? lol

Have you done any other liver tests? Albumin, bilirubin, ggt?
Just to make sure nothing serious is going on. Mind you the alt is not insanely high or anything.

my experience is Deca just increases Testosterone marker.
Man having estrogen that high but not experiencing any sides is so weird. Makes you think it’s an error.

Tren throws off estrogen marker. I don’t think Deca does, I’ve seen it just increase Testosterone. I’m the same way with ALT/AST always being a bit high, no matter what. So I keep an eye on GGT personally.

Based on previous experience with high estrogen I would without a doubt be symptomatic with these levels. Nothing obvious at the moment.

In the past I've always tested those markers but it looks like Teletest has changed their system since the last time I got bloodwork. For some reason it didn't give me the option for them. Any time I've tested them in the past they've been in range.

I'm leaning on the side of it being an error. All these years of using PEDs, just when I think ive got the estrogen management stuff down pat, this shit comes up haha.

for reference:

Rebound cycle
1050mg test
700mg deca
4mg arimidex
Estrogen middle of the range on bloodwork

Cruise cycle
350mg test
100mg deca
1.5mg arimidex
Estrogen 4x+ outside of the range on bloodwork

The body is weird man
