There is a special place in hell for pieces of shit that abuse, neglect, ignore animals or kids that require their assistance such as food, an element of cleanliness and vet care to prevent infections, rotten teeth, and animals in pain.
In this Province it was first released that a technician went to work on a barn for a well known breeder and top handler at dog shows. The technician reported it to the RCMP as the smell made him think someone may be dead in the barn. The RCMP show up and find over 40 dogs - many starving, teeth rotting out, in filth with infections that needed immediate medical attention. They call the SPCA who remove all from the location.
In the dog circle - we know who he is and he lives in a small - don't mess around community - in this Province. They are now a pariah in the community and word is they have to move or the repercussions could be unfortunate. This is a community that is like where I grew up, you don't call the cops - you call the men in the community and they go and take you to the woods and I will leave it there. I am not condoning violence, and I am not saying I would do the same, but Karma is bitch.
No idea where they plan to go, as word is spreading and the entire Province is pissed. To make it worse - one of the gents is Jekyll/Hyde and showed animals in the ring and showed compassion. Mean while he was breeding and had dozens of dogs in deplorable conditions. Wasn't feeding many, some had severe infections, etc.
Anyway, I have a special place in my heart for anyone/anything that can't defend itself and just wants your approval which is generally most dogs. I also have a special place in my heart for people who abuse this. If the laws weren't fucked and there was a dark alley, I am sure they would find the ER is a great place.
Makes my stomach sick to think some group of so called 'dog' people would do this.
I suspect they will have to leave the Province as it is a small Province and word is spreading who they are.
