Some food for thought.
Investors are scared right now. Bitcoin is down on the year but is it a bad place to be right now?

Since the start of the war it has out preformed the
S&P 500
Gold
DXY

Btc is up against
USD +7%
Euro +13%
Yen + 19%

Good info, thanks man. Visiting a new FA next week.

I just invested more money. Truthfully have no idea where this guy is putting it, but every week my money is climbing. It took a bit of a drop at the start of the war.

He has given my dad steady returns for years, like since 2000 so I trust him.

I know nothing about investing and its not really my forte, so not something I will bother to learn. I'll stick to what I know and make money for him to invest.

Timing on this subject is on spot. Just about to cash out my rrsps, because they are loosing at over a 5% decline.

My kids RESPs are taking a shit kicking, have a bank appointment to discuss options today as well

I dont even look at my portfolio anymore. Dividend paying etfs , split stocks etc.
Btcy, etcy, gold, oil, banks, insurance etfs ,Multi-Sector etfs, reits, incime funds. Everything I own pays a Dividend with 7% being my lowest. Its not the best way to invest if you have 20 years or so to retirement,( growth will outperform over long term) but it works. I also hold physical gold and silver but its all vintage bars with high premiums. I also have a few high end hockey rookie cards that seem to outperform the s&p 500.
Some of the index funds are looking like a steal right now nasdaq 100 and s&p500 are nice buys.

To learn more about crypto where do you reccomend to look

Look at
DFN, LBS, BK, EIT.UN, HYLD, HDIF, RS, BTCY, ETHY to name a few. Just remember some are covered call funds and also some are very new.
Dfn and eit have been around for a long time and have great track records for paying dividends, very rarely they will miss if at all
You listed to many secrets.;)
I guess nobody cares, about the best labs.:)

@3ml - do you invest in any notes? I have been putting 50-75% of my cash in auto-callable notes. They range from 8-15% return per year.
Most are 3-5 years and have 50% plus downside protection on the investment.

BTC is a real good one to protect against money desevaluation and some other project seems really interesting too.

I'm putting some $ in UST and some other coins for stacking it (simillar to dividends), a lot better than anything else since i learned to do that.

I'm also using a play to earn game called StepN, you pay for nft shoes and go walking/running to make cash, really interesting and also a lot of hype around it, when leveling up your shoe yon can earn big cash (hundreds daily) for the amount invested. I'll try to make a thread about it later today!
