TRT and sleep Issues/lethargy

Ive been on TRT for about 6months. I started on 100mg per week and eventually upped it to 150mg per week. However, I started having sleep issues at a higher dose. I was waking up during the night completely wired several times and night and then falling back to sleep immediately. I also had lethargy during the day which may have been related to the poor sleep quality. It was really unbearable. I ended up lowering my dose and am currently taking 90mg per week. At 90mg per week the sleep issues are gone however I feel like anxiety returns at such a low dose. Is there anything that can be done to combat this irritating side effect so i can be on the best therapeutic dose?
 
How long are you waiting between dosage change? And whats your pinning schedule.

All of my markers have been completely healthy. I don't have high hematocrit or anything like that.

On 150/week my Total T was 47.
On 90/week my Total T is 22.

I was on 100 mg for a month and worked my way up to 150. I was on 150 for 3 months.

Been on 90 for 2 months.

I was pinning 3 times a week until the past month I started pinning daily because I was hoping that pinning daily would perhaps allow me to be on a higher weekly dose.
 
Im thinking that it could have something to do with my natural production stopping which makes me think that HCG might be worth trying? Does that make any sense?
 
And what was your free test and shbg.
Id stay away from hcg unless you want kids.
Kist gonna rasie your e2 and be unstable unless you pin that everyday or every other.

47 total t is a bit high for trt . Aim for the 30s allow 5 weeks to level out. Your pinning schedule looked decent if your a low shbg guy. But if your a high shbg guy i think a less frequent pin be better youll have to find out.

I don't want to have kids but honestly. I'm not sexually active so im not worried about it.

My SHBG is 29 nmol/L with the reference being 10-73.
 
I find theres a break point in trt when you find the sweet spot and break the e2 , meaning your e2 is going to raise to a certain point then peak then level out. Then your goldon. In that time you could feel dizzy at times , a little nausea possibly fatigue at times that comes and goes , i think its just your body leveling out.
I think you can go to 2 days a week. And 130 mg a week would be your sweet spot.
 
Id try 130mg for 6 weeks pin twice a week. Should put you in the 30s based on your numbers.
Chances are your changing your dosage a bit to frequently and giving your self a bit of anxiety, its hurting ur sleep quality.
If your not that active then a lower dose is better but i belive 90mg a week to be to low a dose.
And if your taking an ai then you shouldn't be on that dosage.
 
You might have a double whammy until you get dialled in. There are a small percentage of people that experience anxiety from testosterone levels higher than what your body was traditionally accustomed to. This is a hereditary thing

Ironically 90 mg your oestrogen may have been too low which will also cause anxiety.

What is E2 at 90mg?

Do you pin at night or in the morning?
I know if I pin at night, I wake up at 3 am wired and can’t sleep, then like you tired during the day.
If I pin in the morning then I’m fine.
Pin your trt 2 times a week.
125 mg per week, I found to be perfect.

Also sometimes you need to allow your body to adjust for a couple of weeks.

I’m sensitive to the effects as well.

When I go on cycle, I usually take a few weeks to ramp it up or I feel like crap. Even something like primo, I’ll have hot flashes for a couple of weeks until my body adjusts.

Also I can pin longer ester gear like ethnate and feel a pump in the morning the day after.

Once I get used to it though it’s all good, I could run a gram of test for a year, lol.

I had anxiety issues before I started pinning. But for the first couple of months my anxiety was gone I felt like a champ. i also had loads of energy. Then one day I went to the gym and I was tired af. Around this time I also started to notice I was waking up duriNg the night.

it was when I started lowering the dose that my anxiety and lack of confidence started to creep back in.
 
I’ve never got a estradiol done. Except for before I started pinning. It was I think slightly over 100 before and my total t was 11.
 
My thyroid Numbers and cortisol were normal.
Blood cortisol dont tell you noithing. Need saliva.
So im told.

I really just think its the case of your free test to high for your lifestyle. You pinning every day or every 3rd day is keeping you at peak levels and if your not using all the free goodness then it may be causing you that anxiety and not being able to sleep.
And 90mg is just not enough. And causing you to be lethargic.

Trt can never be the same it has to change with your life style . You will not find the perfect therapeutic dosage if your constantly changing your lifestyle.
Try 130mg a week pin 2 days a week. For 6 weeks constantly. Check back in 6 weeks if your still feeling the same then its going to be time to check even further on the cause. Testosterone can unmask other issues and cause other underlying issues to be worse.
 
I should point out because I may not have made that clear. At 90mg a week the lethargy and sleep issues are gone. It was at higher doses that it was a problem. But now the issue is that I’ve been experiencing anxiety and lack of confidence. So I want to up it again but I’m a bit concerned that the lethargy and sleep issues will come back.
