I remember SSB - Steroid Super Board, it was a fairly large board and community. It was a place to go to talk training etc. but especially as the name implies, all things gear. What country were you in, they had sources where you were. Weekly and monthly gear contests were a favorite of mine. That was one of the boards I started out at. But as history repeats itself, I do not remember the name of the years long sting Op, but was unfortunately taken down with many criminally charged. It was a good community.

Not a lot of people remember that board. That's from over 20 years ago. Gym Ace brought the gear industry to a halt.

I think it was operation raw deal that took everybody down.

GymAce was an owner.

Operation Raw Deal or ORD was the name of the investigation that took down the board and many of its sources. It essentially closed up every other forum on the internet and sources that escaped the net casted for quite some time.

Now we have sources advertising on Instagram. Like all humans....we learn fuck all.
