Eat your cruciferous vegetable - Indole-3-Carbinol, also known as I3C, is found in cruciferous vegetables such as collards, mustard greens, turnips, cabbage, broccoli, kale, cabbage, cauliflower and Brussels sprouts.
Studies are showing a reduction in certain rates that may be hormone related - few attached:

We buy large bags of fresh Brussels sprouts and eat them raw or peal a couple layers off and bake them. Another favorite for health and good fats is to take chunks of broccoli and dip them in 2 tablespoons of EVO, 1 tablespoon of balsamic vinaigrette and 1 teaspoon of garlic.

do you know if heating the vegetables decreased the value?
I eat both raw and cooked - heating some kills some of the enzymes for health but I would have to get out some books and read and I don't have time right now. I prefer raw vegetables over cooked but each to their own. Some increase in antioxidant value with processing (tomatoes for example).
