45 years old.. Script trt for probably 10 years now.. 100mg a week.. I often hover around 150 though..

It's been an honest, 12 years or more since I've done a cycle, anything other than 150... The odd time in the summer I'll do 100mg scipt and 100mg primo or mast. I guess..

I'm thinking of doing 400mg cycle.. I know, absolutely fucking crazy lol...

I get blood work often.. Everything is always good except a slightly elevated bad cholesterol and my A1c is always around 5.7, which I'm not happy about, but fuck me there doesn't seem to be a dam thing that will budge it lol..

I'm 255lbs right now.. down from 260ish a month ago.. I just decided I wanted to slowly loose 10lbs for the summer (June) this year as opposed to trying to drop 10lbs in April/May.. I'm reasonably lean.. not as lean as some of you guys, but I got veins up my biceps/triceps/quads/calves.... I've always had that stubborn lower body fat below my belly button.. Much of it is just loose skin though due to being over 300lbs for an honest 5 or 6 years straight.

I told myself if I can get down to 245/240, I will reward myself with 100mg script cyp with 300mg prop for a couple months.


I was reffered to an endo awhile ago.. I was contacted by the u of A saying I was accepted and I would be contacted for an appointment.. That was about 5 months ago.. They still let me know I'm on the waiting list, but I don't know when my appointment/blood work will be.. I don't know when I get my appointment if I'll be given a week heads up or 3 months.... Kinda messed things up, but I don't want to go in with messed up blood work or look "the part"... I figure worse case scenario is if I am given a short notice for an appointment, I let the day get close and then cancel because I'm very sick,,





Off topic, I started taking reta this week at 1mg.. Not for fat loose.. if it helps with that, great, but I'm trying to see what it will do to my blood sugars and insulin sensitivity. I couldn't care less if it suppresses appetite. Actually to be honest, I kind of get motivated when I diet when I feel hungry.. When I feel hungry a few times a day between meals, it tells me my metabolism is good and I'm likely on track to loose some body fat.
 
My experience with U of A endo is they feel the bottom of the reference range is perfect place to be.

Why the split of cyp/prop?

Depending on BF % higher dosages might cause more issues due to aromatization etc.

I've gone through U of A before and the endo I saw was great.. Guy wrote me a script for 10 viles and told me "when its out, call me and I'll renew". He's retired now though.. current dr wants me to see the endo because I've been on trt for 10 years and he thinks I should go to the endo again...

I didn't really explain the split.. I'd divide my 300mg prop and 100mg cyp into 3 shots per week. I use prop so I my levels can go back to normal quickly if needed.

Not worried about estrogen. I'll deal with it if it gets out of range

Correct me if I am wrong, but on a previous post did you not say you was not interested in building muscle and spend little time working out? If so then why go 400mg?

Correct, when I wrote that I wasn't interested in building muscle.. I'm still not, but I got a itch to feel like I used to feel when on a cycle. Bascially, I wouldn't mind a couple months in the summer of feeling good in the gym and looking good on the beach. If a couple pounds go with that, I can handle it.. but I'm not interested in say adding 10 lbs. I'm 255.. if I can drop 10-15lbs of fat and get to 240/245, and then add 300mg and go to 250 (but leaner than I was at 255/260) I'll be happy.

My itch seems to have come from just missing how physically good pushing weight used to feel. Doesn't feel the same anymore.

Not sure if I said I don't want to spend much time working out. I don't feel that way at all. I wish I had more time to work out, but I don't due to job/family.. so I make it a point to use the time I do have to work out as efficiently as possible. I lift 3 days a week. I know I mentioned I had to stop doing legs every week because I couldn't recover, maybe that's what you are reffering too? I still lift 3 days a week, but every second leg day got turned to arms/abs/calves/forearms.

Obviously your going to do whatever it is you want, I just dont see the point of going to 400 for the limited gym effort being put forward and the goals. You want to trim down but 400mg probably going to add more water weight. I know you said you would deal with estrogen issues but again why add more sides and meds?

Clean diet and some added exercise when you can will get you to your goal better on a true TRT dose then 400mg

I've never found a correlation between time in gym being proportionately tied to progress with size/strength training myself. At my peak, I was over 300lbs with some pretty darn heavy lifts, but even then I only lifted every 2nd day. I also took off a full week from the gym every 4-6 weeks as well. Any time I tried to increase frequency, I usually halted gains.

I was once trained by Wesley Sylvera (went by iron addict on line).. He got me going more frequently to the gym and added more volume/lifts/sets.. It did not work for me even under his eye and following his diet. I learned lots from him, but adding that volume pretty much crashed me. I think I was 2 days on and one day off on his program with a big increase in calories.

No water weight with prop from my experience.. If estrogen rises, I got a script for arimdex. I've never needed anti estrogens up until the last few years. My script was 1mg a week with my trt, but it crashed my estrogen. I kept lowering the ardimex dose until I got my estorgen in ideal range. I would take 0.25 mg of aridmedix to bring everythign to normal, sometimes I'd only need that dose once every couple weeks.

I know myself better than you.. adding exercises has not lead to gains. I'm guessing we train differently and respond to training methods differently as well.

I'm not sure of your age, but I'm 45. Hormones at my age just aren't indicative to gains, looking decent or even just maintaining. It's a constant battle to just hold on to what I got. I'm at the age where I just have to accept I am on the gradual decline. My goals from 400mg are just feeling better lifting, looking better on the beach.. I've TRT'd at 200mg and it didn't do what I want to do with my proposed 400mg. It's not my diet that prevents me from being able to scratch the itch.. My diet is pretty sqeaky year round.. It's my age.
 
400 mg is nothing, run it and feel good.

At 46 I ran 300 mg of test for a whole year just because. Zero negative effects.

Plus it sure does make it easier to look good without putting in more time at the gym.

You could do the same with gh, and 200 mg of test as well. Shit I can’t really train upper body, only legs and I just haven’t been overly motivated. So to maintain, I took 200 mg of test and gh. Held on to everything.

So you run 400 mg, the days you do train, you’ll feel better, hit it harder, and if it’s summer and you get busy, you’ll look better than trt.

I don’t find I bloat much on 400 mg. I would take 1/2 mg Adex once a week, or 1/4 two times a week.

I love prop.

Shit dude, run it and see how it goes.
