Carnitine + TRT = out of range?

I’ve been on 140mg TRT for 8 years, varying injection protocols from EOD, E3D and E3.5D. My bloodwork has always shown mid-top range for total test, free test and mid-low SHBG.

I got bloodwork done yesterday while injecting 0.1ml of delatresyl daily along with 325mg of injectable L-carnitine daily.

Results - 48nmol/L total (range 5-28), 1386 pmol/L free (range 195-637) and 27 nmol/L SHBG.

Had anyone had a similar experience? I’ve read that carnitine can increase test levels, but I highly doubt doubling it? Does anyone know if carnitine can increase levels that high?

Unless my pharma test is overdosed, I know I am not injecting more than 20mg test a day. I finished a 800 test, 600 eq cycle over 4 months ago, I’m fairly confident the eq has cleared my system.

Thoughts?

These are the only two human studies I know of that would relate. The folder i had the links in tells me that I did not do a deep dive on them but I believe they show T increase of more than 20%, Total or Free I can't remember. Both oral supps I'm pretty sure, and injecting should be way more bioavailable so assumingly more potent? Keep in mind another thing, it increases LH so if you have or had good primary T production that was significantly turned on by "new" higher LH levels from the Carn that would be a big boost. Maybe near double - Your exo dose + your "natty" dose?
Just talking outta my hat here, theoretical yappin,
Could be a simple lab error.

I’m not familiar with any interactions between the two, but just wanted to add that errors in lab testing are a lot more common than people are aware of. If it’s not a huge inconvenience it could be worth getting another blood draw done to confirm the accuracy of the results.

Speaking to what @BanditNOLIMIT said I just had my labs done
My e2 was 598! I just been using trt dose and I don’t have high estrogen in general and I felt amazing I knew something was wrong I went back yesterday and got it checked, the labs came into my life labs today. it was 93. I knew it!

Thanks for the studies! I’m leaning towards probably a combination of the carnitine and lab error. I guess we will see what the doc says. I’ve been on long enough with him with at least biannual labs so he should be satisfied enough not to question it
