Actually good tv series.

People often miss that House was a reimagined Sherlock Holmes, right down to 121B Baker street.
Watching it knowing that premise, provides more layers to the setting and the plots, which often parallel the original stories.
Excellent show
Could agree more - even check the name: House, Wilson, Cuddy, and think of the main characters in Sherlock Holmes. A brilliant man who abuses / used drugs but is needed due an IQ off the charts.
I loved the series and watched it twice. They employed three doctors to fact check all their comments, diagnoses, etc. and you can learn a fair but from watching the series albeit it is more plot oriented.
As soon as I started watching it, I thought of SH/Watson and then did a search and it was clear.
Elementary is great series based on Sherlock Holmes and Watson (Lucy Lie) - lasted many years and again a series I watched twice.
Irene Adler - Lisa Cuddy, another connection. Both had a hold on House/Holmes. Not for everyone but I enjoyed it.

If you haven't watched the Night Agent it is good too. Action filled - season 2 just finished and believe it is on Netflix.
Will Trent is one my favourite shows.
The Agency is good.
The Killing was mentioned and I really enjoyed that show too.
The Fall with Jamie Dornan and Gillian Anderson is dark and about a guy who is serial killer and tries to lead a normal life. It really is dark - he enjoys strangling and then letting women come to and doing it again (disturbing). His hands were not strong enough when he started so he started training his hand strength so he could easily do it. I liked it but will admit some episodes were very dark and you want to be in the right mood to watch this show. You get the picture - he is the guy from movies like 50 shades of Grey and 'The Siege of Jadotville', Not a TV show but a good war movie.

Just got crave tv, watching the sopranos. I know, I'm two decades late.

@Lumberjock I'm watching american primeval ATM. It's good.
I have been thinking about watching Sopranos again. Haven’t watched since the series ended. I’d like to see how it compares to current shows, it pushed the limits of what was allowed back then. Today it probably seems pretty tame.

Thats how subtle the connections are in the show
Lisa was sometimes Irene, sometimes Lestrade. So wtf does Stacey fit in? She was definitely "the woman" 😂
Agreed Elementary was a great rendition of the master detective.

HAd a doctor tell me that they hated House.. He said patients started coming in claiming rare illnesses and self diagnosing because of watchng House

I watched a lot of house and enjoyed it. however eventually gave up on it because each show follows the same pattern. the only change was the disease and the person that was sick. I feel the same about some authors. They write on great novel and then repeat the formula over and over. In my opinion they are lazy and milking it for profit.

They did try and milk it too long.
recommend watching the last 2 seasons where they start tying everything up. Some very unexpected things occur.

I’m tempted to watch The Night of…
can anyone recommend a good site to stream on?

I just might re-watch the sopranos and the wire again. They were that good

I know I’m super late to the party on this one but if y’all haven’t seen Lost that shit is riveting imo lol

I’ve been on the fence with that one but since you insist I’ll have to give it a go!

C’mon bros, post up a link to watch free shows/movies, I got time to kill and need to keep the mind occupied

We just started watching “Silo” now, couple seasons out. If your into post apocalyptic type shows you may enjoy it. I’m really in to it but have odd taste lol.

If you haven't watched The Terminal List: Dark Wolf, it is a great series. It has a plot and action. Taylor Kitsch often plays a supporting role, but not in this series and I consider one of the better actors in movies/TV.
