Obviously we all want the most up to date information on this crisis, but i think the more we read and watch the more damage it does to our sanity.
i am curious what others do to forget about this at least for a few hours each day.
i am fortunate enough to have another house in a private area with a big yard and room to move, but i know a lot of people dont and are basically stuck indoors.
For me, yesterday i decided to burn two very large piles of tress and bushes that i cleared down by the water last fall. I was a bit nervous so did one at a time. Wanted this done while still some snow.
After that, got my Polaris General fired up
For the first time since Oct and went for a crazy ride through the ditches along side the highway. I am a bit ashamed as i wasnt really fit to drive, but whatever, it was fun as fuck and i had a blast!
Later tonight will probably go for a family walk with dogs across the lake while still frozen.
i want to spend as much time outside and unplugged as possible.
Also been getting some good workouts in at home. Have my squat rack, bench and a ton of plates here. Dumbells, tower 200, etc so i still get to train. Still eating lots good food so shouldnt really complain too much i guess.
I do need to contact the RCMP and see where are acceptable areas to go target shooting. I havent even fired my guns in a couple years but they always make me smile. Lol.

I probably should have gone to work but just wasn't up for it, I've been like this since yesterday. What did I do? I literally binge watched Ozark all day, took a break to get some food and back at the binge. If I still drank I'd have probably done that as well but that's not an option. Good show by the way lol

Punch out was awesome.
my kid has an xbox here. Maybe i will try it.
i have an old playstation 3 with some cool games, but i havent used it in years and it at other house right now.

Youtube dragracing videos Cleetus McFarland, John Doc and others as well as fitness videos Bradley Martin, Greg Doucette... Took my dog for an hour walk, more Youtube, home workout chinups, bandwork, kettlebell, another hour dog walk. Started the third season of Ozark. For some reason I don't fell comfortable watching movies or a mini series during the day but Youtube gets a pass because it can be informative.

Let me put it this way, I grew up so poor that if I didn't wake up with a hardon I had nothing to play with all day.

Some of the lessons we learn when we are young can be very useful later on in life. That and Viagra. Plus when I do it in the shower I think that counts as washing my hands right? 30 seconds? Pffft, try 3 hours, it really gets the shine on.

hahahaha

live in the country, train my dogs - the big protection Bouvier more than the noise maker, watch TV, sex when the wife says ok, work out with my weights and box for cardo with my BOB. Read books on natural medicine I never got into yet, when mom passed I took all those books and am picking away at reading them.
TV kills hours and of course the internet on forums.
There is no social distancing concern where I live - neighbours could barely hear me if I yelled at them.

I worked out and had a nap. Wife worked out and had a nap. Then we did some cardio together while the kids played downstairs.

Raining hard all day so I played Mario Cart with my kids for hours. They didnt want to stop. It was so much fun!

Then a little GTA5

Then we bounced a balloon around, cant let it hit the floor.

Then the rain let off. Assuming I'd get a temp layoff and I knew I'd want to shoot guns so a few days ago I hit up a craigslist add for an airsoft Sig P226. Set up a target outside yesterday and teaching my kids how to shoot. Its surprisingly realistic compared to my actual P226.

Then... had a couple drinks! . Not a bad day.

Been working on my car and watching tv. Got the Gym set up so I will be able to workout now. Im off work for at least one more week maybe two. Depends when Ford starts making trucks again.

Wake up, eat, train, watch/learn economic/realestate stuff on internet, eat, outside with the kids, eat, reading, cardio , eat, relax with the kids before they go to bed, cardio with the wife, then a netflix show before going to bed.

Pretty much what i did in the last days

Trying to learn how to invest, basement work and other little thing like this need to be done also in the next days/weeks

Ive been learning to cook vegan food lol, ive got a binder full of recipes.
Slow marinating lamb.
I bought a carb rejeting kit so my plan is to go spend some time tuning my car.

Might go find a mud puddle and put my 37"s to work. Maybe see if I can break something on my truck so the wife won't kill me if I buy new parts.

We just got a 8week old amstaff puppy.
Incredible dog, it's our first amstaff and I'm blow away by the intelligence and the personality.

Lmao my cats are trying to act like a boss and she's not taking it lol. The kids are alot happier since the puppy came home to

Painting a window I trimmed in a while ago, doing some cleaning organizing, try to get out for some walks

it's tough though, feeling of no escape sometimes, wife has CNN/CBC/etc etc almost all day, which I find very unhealthy just raises everyone's anxiety which I admit these all day news are very good at

I did some tile, but now am back to work thank god.
I unplugged from all the Corona virus crap, what more is there to learn?
I watched it so much I was going insane from worry, so what I did, decided I will follow the recommendations to stay healthy and if I get it and die, well I guess its meant to be. I am not worrying about it anymore. The stress would have played havoc on my immune system anyways.

I never really traveled out of my house or socialized anyways so its not going to make a big difference in my life. Only thing is I eat all my meals at home now. Not chancing getting sick from another restaurant delivery.
