What do you drink intra?

I use around 25-30g once im warmed up good, probably 20 mins into my workout I start drinking it. I like lots of water with it. Ben pakluski said something about it boosting gh when done this way. If you drink it preworkout you will crash. I can do a longer workout once its in my system it gives me my second wind.
Disagree regarding the crash. I've done both and prefer it pre...Matt Jansen advocates for it pre WO so it's there to utilize from the start of your workout (I actually sip it whilst warming up)

I will have to try it again.. i remember it making me tired..lol. i wanted to go to bed. Maybe I didn't need so much. Cant remember bens reason for taking them preworkout but it was something about gh release and insulin release ( which I know nothing about). This was also 7 or 8 years ago, so I bet protocols have changed since.

Have you tried highly branched cylic dextein instead pf the dextrose? Doesn't bloat me as bad. Might be worth a try
It’s expensive AF and I don’t notice any difference at all, either in how I’m feeling or my BGL (I test multiple times during training). All does the same shit. :)
I get no bloat at all from dextrose.

Yeah he's the first I'd heard of having it Pre... he has all his guys doing it. I prefer it as I don't really like consuming anything other than water or flavored EAA's during.

I usually take 50-60mg pre mixed with a cocktail of other shit.

Dropping caffeine pre workout definitely improved my workouts FYI.

I was watching YouTube vids last night about this; and this Jeff Nippard kid he was talking about using something like fuzzy peaches for intra. Lol is that why Seth feroce is obsessed with the fuckin gummy bears ? Lol low key intra hack 🤣

AB is dextrose just like waxy maize - corn starch?

Ok how much are you using ?
When I'm trying to gain strength I use 75g for smaller body parts....arms+delts.

100g for chest

125g for back and legs.

That's combined with COR or bagels preworkout which yield 100g carbs.


Right now I'm cutting down so my pre meal has 75g carbs. Then 40-75g hbcd intra. Not sure how much I like this tho. I think I may reduce or remove carbs from other meals of the day and keep my pre to 100g and my intra at 75g+ hbcd.


A lot of guys just use eaa intra and have their hbcd post workout with their whey iso shake. Antoine and hunter Labrada both do it this way.
