trump Election Loss Meme's

Best thing I did.
Moved out of Canada stopped caring about canada, stopped watching the news, stopped caring about the US.

People want to be under communist rule....call it socialism if you like. Have at it. There is no changing the course Canada or the US is on now. If you can't beat em join them, or fight them, if that's not what you are willing to do then time to look at other options. Arguing on a device will never change anyone's mind. If those options dont work I recommend doing what I did. I left. I didnt like Canada anymore, I wasn't happy. The only change I could truly make is to change where I live. I suggest others do the same. Let communism take over. Let it run its course. Life is short. Move and enjoy life.

@3ml
yet capitalism is stronger than its ever been. socialist countries have dumped socialism and embraced capitalism. the world has been in the greatest growth period in history. in my lifetime 1/3 of the world went from living in war, severe poverty or famine. its now below 9%. its not even debated what caused this.

I am not talking about the world
I am talking about what is happening in Canada or the US

like what? someone says something stupid on the internet and everyone overreacts? nothing thats happening today, including covid, hasnt happened before except for the perpetual growing government debt thing. unfortunatly nobody wants to talk about that. Numbers are too complicated for some people i guess.

Many things.
Like I said a few posts ago arguing on a device isnt going to change anyone's mind. People that believe in the current government and agree with it that is great for you. I completely disagree with what is happening to the country so I left. Simple. I will continue to siphon money from Canada and spend it somewhere I feel free, and get far more value for the dollar.

Enjoy your Canada if it is the way you like it. For me I cam retire live like a king and be much more free in a place with better weather.

Have fun, hopefully there is a pension for you if you can even ever think of retiring in the future. I dont see anything good economically happening there for the foreseeable future.

i dont agree with the current govt i dont need a pension, i dont think canada has ever been the way i want it. and retirement sucks. go ahead and stay in mexico. youll miss the greatest opportunities in history.
i dont recall you ever say anything specific about why canada is going communist other than attributing things to trudeau that cant be.
sorry you had to suffer through the weather this long.

Retirement sucks??

Not sure what opportunities I am missing

Also, I didnt say anything specific for a reason. I'm done with arguing over this shit. I'm living my dream. People in Canada are living a nightmare in my opinion.
I can go to the gym, go to the beach. I can buy growth hormone over the counter
I can eat fresh produce and seafood every day.
I swim in the ocean almost daily, go scuba diving, fishing. Having a bbq with friends tonight. If that sucks and you think I'm missing out on something you must t have an amazing life

You need to get back.

You don't see your family.

Right now this winter there are no bugs.:)

Your Canadian, we love hockey were there is hitting and fighting.

Town there they like soccer, and they call it football haha. They take falls like street fighter....flying in the air blahhh.

since when did 3ml not enjoy arguing on the internet? is that a NY resolution? good on ya tho.
Gave it up
Took a break from online for the most part of December after I moved to Mexico in November. I just generally dont give a shit about Canada or the politics there anymore. I wasn't happy so I changed what I could change.

Lol
I've never been much of a family guy. Rarely saw them in Canada.

Winter .....yuck! Spent too many years working outside in that shit.

Not a hockey fan in the slightest, haven't watched a game since I was in high school. I would much rather be in the ocean swimming, fishing, or scuba diving. Or just sitting on the beach perfecting my incredible tan lol.

I dont want to come back

Oh ya not to mention thong Bikinis seem to be at an all time high in popularity

I wish I could be fishing right now. I ice fish, but it's just not the same, although I love the serenity of a frozen lake. While I'd like to do some saltwater fishing one day I prefer cold water fish, well, trout to be exact. And, while I would love to go swimming and take in the 'scenery', I can only tolerate so much heat. I'm trying to move farther north b/c I love the cold. It's -20 with the windshield today and I hope it last for weeks. Would be nice if it was -20 without the windshield. Winters are not what they used to be.

If you are happy, then that's all that matters. I love this country, and while there are things that need to change it is not as bad as you make it out to be. You're entitled to your opinion.

I would be lost without forests, backwood lakes, cold water streams and rivers, and massive expanses that are sparsely populated. I've never cared for cities or sharing space with others. I do enjoy a nice beach and the women, but I'm good with a few visits a summer. Sure there are bugs in the summer, like mosquitos humming so loud that the entire forest seems to vibrate, but you take the bad with the good. I can tolerate mosquitos, it's those damned black flies that get to me. Thankfully they are only bad for a short time, once the dragonflies emerge they are gone.

All the best to this new chapter.

I used to be similar to you. Loved the cold and Canadian wilderness. As I aged it changed and right now a tropical environment is my preferred place to be.
I would love a place in some of the higher altitudes down here where its basically eternal spring. I'm through with winters for the foreseeable future.

" while there are things that need to change it is not as bad as you make it out to be. You're entitled to your opinion."

As far as your statement above thagnos pretty subjective. I completely disagree. I dont think they are as good as many think.

As I said, that's your opinion. If Canada is such a terrible country why not renounce your citizenship?

That doesnt happen overnight.
I will be once I get citizenship and an alternate passport . Trust me I have talked many times about shitting on my passport and mailing it back. Plus I have paid more than my fair share of taxes to that country. I will utilize it as a revenue source until I decide not to.

I truly despise what Canada has become. Love it all you want. I have been to many many countries in my life. This is how I feel. Canada is headed downhill.

That's your decision, and as I stated previously if you're happier so be it. I do agree that this country isn't what it once was, but neither are many. The late 60's to the late 70's were the best era this country experienced, imo. My father bought his first house, which cost twice his annual salary at that time. Jobs were abundant, and wages enabled people to live a good life. If you had ambition and work ethic it took you far. I'll admit that I wish I had been born 30 year earlier. But, it is what it is.

Like anything, when the pendulum swings one way, it eventually swings back. I don't know what the next 10-20 years will be like, but I don't share these views of a country in ruin and a slide towards a terrible future. I do wish there were term limits for PMs.

All the best to you, and I mean that sincerely. Don't be shy to post some of those beach (read, thong) pics. ;-)
