Has anyone benched on a Thompson fat pad? I hurt my left shoulder twice years ago flat benching so I never do it first (incline DB or BB). I can buy a fat pad for $200 (new but off a guy). I don't mind paying that amount for the pad if it will help my shoulders. The only somewhat negative review I've read on the pad is it might be too wide for some people to use comfortably. I also wonder how it would be with dumbbells vs a bar.
