Fairly old I realize but to throw my two cents in the gel really had no positive effect on me. It barely raised my testosterone but my estrogen skyrocketed and I got really bad acne outbreaks all over my back. What got me dialed in was going from the gel to a injectable depo script. Doc also advised I take saw palmetto to help with conversion albeit I noticed no difference with the saw but I still take it. I low dose arimidex from time to time for a noticble "boost"

Interesting, I read a study which said the opposite (gel caused less aromatization)

I will admit, although I’m on a really low dose of the gel, my testosterone was still practically almost below normal. Maybe it was the boost in estrogen that gave me some positive effects
