Anyone have supplement suggestion for DVT symptoms/prevention. I've had 3 all in the my left leg and i'm 33. Its lead to chronic venous deficiency. I wear compression socks daily or else it swells up. The colour is getting worse and i'm getting some varicose veins in the my calf.

Not sure if your aware but you have to be cateful with nolvadex, Arimidex and aromasin, maybe others. That can actually make the condition worse.

I may sound like a broken record but fish oil will help. It can help reduce clots. Thats all I really know.

For some reason hot sauce and hot peppers come to mind but I cant remember if you eat it or actually put it on your legs..lol. maybe see what you can find on that. Dont blindly take my advice, I have a bad memory where I only remember bits and pieces..lol

Yeah this is true about nolva and stuff. I have read that before. I know that use of AAS can increase risk of blood clots. I got my first clot before using them so I do kind of throw that theory out as to why I have them. I told the specialist I saw about my occasional aas use and he didn't seem to concerned.

I have tried cayenne pepper (eating it lol). I'm currently taking turmeric capsules - active ingredient is circumin which is supposed to help but so far I can't see a difference but that doesn't mean it isn't helping. I have tried ginger in pretty high doses as well. What concerns me is that even with taking the prescription blood thinners over the years I see the leg getting worse. The discolouration, swelling, and even my toes are starting to tingle because of poor circulation. I was just putting it out there to see if anyway has seen some success with anything.

Do you take a low-daily dose of aspirin? I've read just half of a baby-aspirin can help thin your blood and assist in preventing DVT. Just a thought.

I take Xarelto which is a blood thinner/anti coagulant. So taking aspirin would be over kill.
