Hey all! New here and wasnt sure where to post this, anybody know any good sources for blood pressure meds in Canada? Thanks!

Walk into any clinic or see your doctor. No, I'm not being sarcastic. If its high enough, they will prescribe something. High BP is a serious issue over an extended period.

There are some supplements / herbs that work very well too.

If it’s an issue you you can’t afford them I have coversyl that I no longer need. But our scripts are pretty cheap and if you are taking AAS then you should stop and get a script for BP.

I have a family member who had a a massive stroke and has been wheel chair bound ever since. This happened a few months before his 50th birthday.

Like what? Carditone?

There are tons of posts on this subject, check out the search button in top right but to name a few:

1. low dose aspirin taken specifically at night.
2. High EPA/DHA fish oil - up to 10,000 mg per day of combined EPA/DHA.
3. Nigella Sativa/Blackseed oil
4. Ubiquinol/CoQ10

There are lots more but those are my go to and I don't take all 4 at a time. Start with 1 and monitor daily, if one isn't enough add another....Keep in mind aspirin comes with bleeding issues so use discretion.
Yes, Carditone is used by some but I have never used it and find the aforementioned items work great.

That being said, if my BP was too high I would be at the doctor's office immediately.

Is there a reason you don't want to discuss this with your doctor?

Well because im on cycle and bloods would show that

No, they won't unless they run a hormone panel. For high BP, they usually take your BP a few times and if you are too high they give you a script. If they suspect a reason, they may order blood tests but if they do you have the right to ask what are you test for? The docs are supposed to help you and they work for you.

While there is no doubt supplements can help, if you are too high hence @3ml 's question, don't mess around because you are on cycle and see a doctor. If you went to a clinic, most docs just want you in and out fast and are too happy to pass out a script without many questions.

Good luck regardless of what you do.

@Goldenrod would taking the CoQ10 at night be beneficial as qell or specifically just the asparins?
I have never read any reports or studies indicating Q10 or Ubiquinol taken at night is better than AM for BP. Aspirin has significant data behind it showing it is better at night (specifically for BP).

Just to add to this, you may want to look into low dose Cialis as well, seems to help many guys and most sources have it.

Its around 130/85
Yeah, I wouldn't get too worried until you get close to 140. Take fish oil, cialis 5 mg a day if you can find it, and hysbiscus tea works well also. If you drink 1` cup a day you may drop 5 points. Thats what I normally do when I hit the 130's
