Oldguyjiujitsu and Sorbate's Road to 50!

Well, other than some bruising at the site where they went into the vein, my leg is gtg.
I didn’t train, but work, up and down on ladders and so on was pretty much the same.
I couldn’t wear the compression stocking, every 5 minutes I was pulling it up, because as I crouched and stood up, it would slide down.
I wore it the first 48 hours. I looked up the studies, everyone without the stocking was 100% closure rate after 3 months, so I’m not conserned, I pushed it hard, it’s still good after 10 days. I wear my compression socks at work everyday now, I am used to them now, and hopefully it will stop me from getting another.

Sold my hottub because I didn’t use it anymore, so woo hoo $4000, then I handed to my wife to cover what the procedure on the vein cost $3900. So yeah, made me a bit sad, lol.

Can’t wait to get back at it next week. First thing I train is my legs, it’s been well over a month.
I really enjoyed the deca, test cycle I was running, but all you guys talking about throwing mast or primo in there to control estrogen got me all excited so more or less.

225 mg test a week
170 mg mast a week
200 mg of deca.

I’m running short acting test and mast, so the wood is already getting better, hopefully it will offset the flop I get from even low doses of deca.

Still eating too much junk, but I reduced, I’ll clean it up completely this week.

I keep forgetting fucking mast gives me horrible prostate issues. I wasn’t even running much, my flow cuts to half at times.

Back to my old tried and true.

200 mg of test
200 mg of deca, why because my joints feel great using it.

First day of cut. I’m looking forward to it. Time to get regimented.
I am going to write down my goals, meals and the list of things outside of training I need to accomplish this summer, this way I’ll keep on track and not feel overwhelmed .

LOL we are way off our original plans...

Due to work and gyms closed, i dropped the primo. Just running 120mg of test. Will start cut in June and will add the primo back in if the gyms are open.

Had to drop the 5mg cialis...started causing too much acid reflux. tried to mitigate but nothing worked. What a great preworkout though...

To date: i am up a total of 5lbs. Very pleased with some of the improvements to date. Little too fluffy but will keep pushing right to the end of May. I will tighten up fast once i drop a little water and add a little more cardio.

Lower back still somewhat angry but not preventing anything but back squats and deadlifts.

Food consistent at 3600 cals...was going to stop at 3400 but like how the body was handling the quantity and digesting well. Usually increases just carbs once at 1g of protein per lb but this time around increased protein. not sure which approach is better. composition looks about the same.

no pics from me until we get 4-5 weeks out...and i start playing mind games with ya.

The heartburn killed me though.

I look like shit.
I need to really knuckle down now.

Cialis is great for prostate and artery health but acid reflux/heartburn sucks

Did you not get some from the doctor that you put under your tongue that was supposed to help with that?
My thought is cialis relaxes the esophagus sphincter ring and that’s why you get heartburn.
I also notice if I only take cialis once a week, I shit 3 times the next day, lol. Buddy noticed this as well.

Stan recommended the under the tongue version. My Dr said it was not available in Canada

Yes that is my understanding of the mechanism of action

I do have a ton of pharm cialis now lol

Glad you are back at it....and doing legs. Not even summer yet...we got tons of time to get in shape...if you put down the Oh Henry ice cream.

PPS i am up 5lbs since the start and have not gone above 120mg per week...this was not the plan but f&#king closed gyms pissed me off....3 month to go by friend.

I have no abs to really show right now. But I have been hitting it hard.
I pounded chest so hard on Wednesday that my collarbone upper chest area aches for like 2 hours when I went to bed. I finally had to take COD oil in hopes to numb it enough to sleep, lol.
Reminds me of old trying days in my youth.
Then yesterday I was so sore, chest and legs, I went to bed early.

In my youth, I would have said fuck it and trained anyways, lol. Then had to slowly roll out of bed because I was so stiff. I don’t know if it’s just age or my mentality, but I really have a hard time pushing myself to that point of constant aching pain everyday. Maybe I just need to get used to it again.
I did a good back workout tonight. I’ll be sore again.

I’m still around 190, I’ll recomp for August, I’m eating around 2400 cal a day right now. Protien high.
 
I swear god doesnt want me to beat you oldjuju.
so today I’m pulling out pails of fat to defrost for tomorrow and the handle snaps and a 40lb pail smashed down on my toe, on an angle so the edge had all the force.
So no calves for a couple weeks.
Did it about 4 hours ago, waiting to see what it will look like tomorrow but it hurts pretty good already, lol.

Oh and when it hit I knew I was in trouble. I walked it off though.
Still climbed a ladder this afternoon a few times wiring in the pot lights in the garage.
maybe I should have taken it easy instead.
