I'm curious about the FT values. The normal range, according to LifeLabs and Dynacare is 196-636 pmol/L. Are these based on American laboratory ranges?

My last bloods submitted to my endo had FT of 874 pmol/L. I received a phone call the next day, and told him that I did the bloods the day after my shot.

Went to my GP and asked to get my testosterone levels tested. He asked some questions and wrote me an order. Order came back, but because results were all normal I received no call. I requested a copy and found my free testosterone is 206 pmol/L (I'm in the 41-60 age range). Lab document stated lower range of normal was ~198, so doc says I am fine.

@Taureau -- can you tell me where your normal range comes from?

Also, there are a pile of parameters on there, which ones should I be focused on?

Yeah, I'm wrong with that assumption because it does not compute to ng/dl either but you're right there is an issue with the units of measurement on all of the free testosterone readings, i'm not sure what it is but it is wrong.

yeah that part is all fuckrd up, I spent a few hours one night trynna figure out what happened there, gave up when the headache became overwhelming. I also looked for something to replace it with but I couldn't find anything that fit well.

Best guess at the moment is whoever did the final input at the source just mistyped enough things to make it impossible to "solve", hopefully I'm wrong and someone figures it out. Or finds a proper replacement, I don't recall why I struggled so much to find something, maybe just brain fatgue by that point of the evening.

Lol, I did the same! Fricken conversions....I know you feel the same, its bullshit that a standard unit of measure can't be utilized.
 
For testosterone levels I kinda measure my health in how thick my blood, my BP and HR level. As long as they are intact and everything feels good, I have no growths or major pains I don't worry to much. I do have a battery of tests done every 6 months to see if there any major issues that they can see in my blood.

There was one time that I had blood tests and I wanted to know where my testosterone levels were as my BP and HR were up there. When I got the blood test done, my blood was coming out like molasses rather the spurting into the vials. At the time I was making gear and I was testing batches cause I had some bad test enanthate (turned when it got a bit older causing bad swelling) as i did not want others to get bad stuff. When FT levels were measure after a blood test ... they could not get a measure from their equipment as it was so high. So I stopped what I was doing and cleaned up for 6 weeks and everything went back down ... next blood test they got a reading, it was a bit high but they could measure it. Long story short ... if BP is around 120/80 and hr is mid 70's or lower your test levels are probably not to high. I know when my test levels are low ... I have to pop to many cialis ...lol

When I started my original test results came back as 363.9 pmol/L. I'm currently on test cyp and 1ml/100mg a week. Curious why the numbers have dropped so drastically or whether or not I'm just missing something? Should the dose be going up? Any help or assistance would be appreciated.

I'd start a thread in the TRT section , a lot of knowledgeable people could probably help out. It could be a few things, the rest of your blood work would help give a clearer picture like your SHBG and your total testosterone values as well. There is a chance your dosage isn't enough. The timing of when you took your blood can have an impact too. If you are only injecting once a week you will have a bit of a spike in levels and then it slowly drops before your next injection. I am assuming you took your blood at your lowest point ( before you next injection ). Some people do 2x a week injections which keep you from peaking as high but also from dropping so low.

One thing to remember is your natural system is no longer working so if your dose isn't high enough your levels will be worse than pre TRT since you aren't producing naturally. I had a similar situation when I tried Compounded cream, I ended up with lower than my original Test levels because I didn't absorb it well.

I'd talk to your doctor about it and its hard to give a proper answer without any other blood work to see but it's fair assume you most likely need a higher dose.

For comparison my Free Testosterone levels 945pmol/l on 100mg split into 2x a week injections (50mg M/F) but I have low SHBG causing it to be higher compared to someone who has a higher SHBG causing more testosterone to be bound.

Short Version: The injections shut down your natural system but your dosage isn't high enough so you end up with lower values than you started before your next injection.
