Need help purchasing crypto and setting up wallet

Hey! Wondering if anyone has any experiance purchasing crypto and setting up a hardware wallet? Want to take the plunge but can't figure it out to be confident enough to put money on the line LOL

Any help is greatly appreciated
 
Go to metamask and set up a wallet, but I would advise against this unless you have taken proper security precautions like keeping your crypto on a pc that doesn't have an internet connection. Some brokers offer crypto like wealthsimple but their selections are limited and you technically don't have custody of any of your coins, which is perfectly fine to get started out. When/if these precautions are met you can transfer your coins to your wallet from said broker but afaik this system is in beta for now

Hardware wallets are a little more complicated.

Depending if you are using a phone or computer there are many options for wallets

Some of the easiest and best to use that can hold multiple Cryptocurrency are

Exodus
BRD
Atomic

Metamask the other guy mentioned won't hold bitcoin.

As far as buying it
Shakepay
Coinberry
Bull bitcoin
NDAX
