For me "bigs" are 4-5workouts first workout 4 sets, the other 3-4 are 2-3sets
Smalls are 2-3workouts 2-3sets, isolation dominate
Legs always gets its own day, the fast im combining all leg muscles into one day is already enough, ive heard of people seperating them, which ive tried before, but i am having trouble remembered enough leg workouts to do it(im recovering from a concussion r.n., so that might be part of it, lol)... guess ill look some up, see which ones i can do at the shitty gym im at, then look em up n see how they actually stack up in terms of continuous stregrh building and muscle growing... re establish my understanding on which are fast twitch vs slow twitch dominate...
I usedto have this general rule that if i could walk up my stairs at the end of a legs daywithout needing the railing as an assist, cause im exhasted not in pain, then i didnt train them hard enough and i havent really felt like that recently at the end of legs day. I treat legs like shoulders though, between 25-12reps each set and a power set of 4 or 6 on a workout or two.
