Fertility on TRT or Super Long Cycles

100% get off all testosterone supplementation. I went through this already myself, instead of typing it all out again,
here is my post from @Cheapshot's HMG thread.

Thank you that was very helpful.

Can anyone make a recomendation or point me in the right direction:

The fertility clinic(s) has a several month wait time, and that's just the first phone consultation which afterwards you'll be waiting again for any sort of tests to be discussed and then taking place. This was more than one clinic.

Is there a clinic of any sort I can go and pay out of pocket to get a semen analysis done quicker? I have a feeling the reason why we can't concieve may be because of me. I was digging into one of my hair loss drugs called Dutasteride and it can cause sperm motility.

Dutasteride has been reported to affect semen characteristics (reduction in sperm count, semen volume, and sperm motility) in healthy men (see section 5.1). The possibility of reduced male fertility cannot be excluded.

In case that is what's happened can HCG/HMG help normalize sperm/semen?

Ill tell you this, all these guys in this thread saying "100% you will have to come off, gurentee this, guarentee that" are talking only of their experience. I was blasting for 3-4 months and before hand was cruising for 1.5 years. Got my GF pregnant mid blast. SO no, nothing is 100%, its individual based.

Wish you all the best brother.

Nobody said that it can't happen. You're right, it is individually based as there can be many contributing factors.....I myself have a child that was conceived after being on a very long cycle as well.
If someone is trying to conceive and having no luck then I sure wouldn't suggest they stay on...I guarantee that...

A family doctor can give you a requisition for a sperm analysis, mine gave me three separate ones.

Lower your trt, add in hcg plus clomid together.

This is actually a great video to explain it.

if someone is not looking to have a kid and blasting, they usually will have a easier time knocking the girl up.
If youve been on for long time and its time to start a family then you will probably be in for frustration. This seems to be the trait i keep seeing.
The wife and i were having a hell of a time a bunch of years back. So i came off and did the whole aggressive pct. Still nothing even tho my sperm count went up rather well. Turns out she didnt ovulate at all. So a bunch more bullshit for her to do for months and still nothing. We both said fuck it and she told me to go back on

You're sure right about that! When i was blasting on a long cycle is exactly when I knocked her up.....definitely not looking to have a kid as that girl was just a FWB. The second one was planned and with my wifey now & was after a PCT. I had came off as I was still cycling then and not on TRT. It happened the very first month that we tried but that was atleast three months after PCT. The third one was after I had been on TRT for awhile and then tried to stay on TRT and use HCG....tried for a year and a half every single month....didn't happen. Did a PCT and three months to the day pretty much after my last test pin we had another one on the way.

Yeah i agree, and i want to apologize if i came off like a douchebag in my post. It wasn't my intentions....Kinda was in a mood that day I think. Good looking out brother no hard feelings.

Absolutely no hard feelings here either @Jackcity506. Alot of our discussions are based on either opinions and or individual experiences....they can and do differ greatly between all of us. I'm just happy to be able to be here and learn from others as well as try to help others too if I am able to and I know that you're the same!

Bit of a noob with the fertility stuff, but when coming off TRT, is the best bet to just stay on HCG until pregnancy is achieved? Or is the idea to stay on HCG for awhile as a restart and to then drop the HCG at a certain point?

Fertility clinic results were discussed. Doc said I had low sperm concentration, but motility was fine. This he said would explain why we haven't been able to conceive. I know what the culprit was, it was Dutasteride. When we started attempting to conceive this was the time I started to get back on Dutasteride.

I believe the good news is that we're fortunate it's nothing serious. Testicles ultrasound also came back normal.

I'm surprised, and not surprised since it's Canada, at the Doc ONLY giving me 2 options to proceed if we want to conceive:
Option 1) Invetro Fertilization (very high success rate) - Would cost about $15,000 before taxes.
Option 2) Insemination aka iui (about 15%-20% success rate with low sperm concentration) - Cost about $700

I personally believe HCG would benefit me. I'm thinking 500iu eod. Does one stay on HCG until prenancy is accomplished? How long do bros normally stay on HCG?

Just curious, is that low sperm count while you're taking testosterone or are you off?

No, if I were on Testosterone then it wouldn’t have come as a surprise and I wouldn’t be visiting a fertility clinic; I’d already know what the issue was. I held off TRT or any cycle until the wife got pregnant.

I heard tribulus can help sperm count as well; just a thought ; not sure if it’s been mentioned already. Pretty cheap too

Yeah improves motility among other things as well.

Nice. I’ll read up on it

I was told my “sperm concentration” was low. I wonder if that’s the same as having a low sperm count

Dude; tribulus is at Popeyes for like 20$ a bottle, I take 3 of those a day when I’m on it, so it’s 20$ a month to take tribulus basically. Improves libido, and for me it makes orgasms feel twice as intense with twice as much yield

all that’s an added bonus 😆
I hear you on that one. I’ve been taking prescribed cialis 2.5mg almost daily. The sensitivity and finishing was addictive. And with that too studies claim it increases sperm count
