Fertility on TRT or Super Long Cycles

I’m looking for some solid and reliable advice from you level headed bros with experience in this regard.

I’ll make it real short. I want to get on TRT and stay on.

I’m also going to be doing 6-8 month cycles consisting of high dose of test amongst some other orals and the occasional tren, and then drop back down to my trt dose.

My questions are as follows:

- Will HCG keep me fertile during my TRT?

- Does the effects of HCG decrease with the increase of test dose, or is the HCG completely effective despite weekly test (or tren) dose?

- Does HCG keep you fertile in the case one wants to conceive OR does it simply just increase the chances?

I know a few guys how were younger and went on and stayed on. They don’t have kids. The guys that cycled on and off do have kids.
mind you the on guys, I doubt they used hcg.

Freeze some sperm. No worries then.

Yeh the question is whether or not HCG keeps a man fertile while on cycle/trt, and if it's a for certain thing.

Freezing sperm is something I didn't think about, probably a superb fukcing idea (y)for dudes that want to go on trt or long @ss cycles. I'm going to read up on it and see how it works. Would still love to know the answer to HCG and fertility on cycle though.

If you want to blast - high test, tren and orals for 6-8 months don't expect to have any fertility. Many people get shut down completely both from a testosterone and sperm perspective from TRT. I did and had to go off. Keep in mind the docs I dealt with are fucking stupid and never heard of HCG or HMG for men.
No, I don't think HCG will keep you fertile during the use of any compound that can shut you down but it will help you recover quicker when you cut the dose significantly or stop. For example - I was diagnosed with azoospermia on TRT, two specialists who knew I was on TRT said I would never have sperm again.

I cut my TRT in half and did another sperm test in a month - magic, I had sperm but not enough and some were shaped abnormal. I stopped all test completely and within a few months my sperm was in the normal count but some were not shaped normal.

Everyone is different so I would suggest running some trial and error tests. Just a suggestion but tell your doctor you are concerned about fertility and want to run some sperm tests. Test it out now so you know for the future.

Find a lab that has HMG (Dracorex did have it) and @Sorbate 's suggestion is good.

I know a few guys who competed at a National level and both have kids. Friends at another forum who did a PCT and hopped on HMG and came off for a while.

Good luck.

If you think you want to have kids later, don’t know how old you are, then you should really stay off everything.

Are you planning to compete or a trainer or make your living based on your body ? If not and you want to have kids then running AAS will greatly reduce your chances. Especially running when young.

I would look at this as, if i go this route im going to have a difficult time having kids. And im going to have to come off for a long enough time and do a very good protocol in order to have any chance.
If you are one of these guys that dont seems to have issues, then you are lucky but you cannot rely on that

I went through this battle. 100% you will have to come off. I tried trt with hcg and the wife would not het pregnant. My sperm test was so low it was basically zero. Came off completely and she was knocked up in a few months.. i use hcg and hmg. Heres the kicker, and this is entirely my own theroy, I have a feeling my sperm is weak or something wrong, because I actually got her pregnant 2 more times. We lost all 3 babies. All her tests came back fine. Im not sure if miscarriages are common in the bodybuilding world. But Im gonna take a wild guess and say yes. If you truly want kids I wouldn't use aas at all. And definitely not the harsh stuff or stay on for long periods

2 of my ex’s had miscarriages and this comment makes me question if it was because of my swimmers

I agree, doctors are in the dark in Canada when it comes to this topic which is why forums and posts like this can prove to be a life altering pool and source of knowledge. Thanks for sharing your own exxperience, it's what I was looking for. This week I will request a fertility and/or sperm test (not sure if they are the same?). yeh Sorbate's suggestion is superb and I'll be making some calls tomorrow to these centres to look into it. It's a great way to reserve when the future is unknown and it only costs about $400 a year for them to store. What I really want to know is if the sperm they freeze/store is that useable for multiple conceptions or just one cconception.

Is there anything to take to help get the sperm into normal shape again?

Almost 40, and have done many cycles. My careless cycles were the ones I did from my teen yrs and up to a decade ago. These days my cycles are more quality-based but lesser. I've never done any pct (and I don't don't condone not doing PCT). We currently have 2 kids, 3 and 5. If not AAS, I need to get on TRT sooner than later. I wasn't competing but I was modelling in NYC in my 20s and not for the money either pay was shitty, moreso for vanity and the unlimited supply of pussy - also because I engaged in a lot of fighting, extremely athletic, and gave me an edge when competing in sports. All these stupid decisions of the past are the reasons why I pay a heavy toll today with all sorts of ongoing stubborn pains and aches

Duly noted bud, must approach this with delicate care

Ive never really looked into it much. But it makes sense. I have no problem getting her pregnant but imo something is off for the baby to develop properly. I mean we are fucking with our hormones

It's possible man. My wife had 2 miscarriages as well. I hope the sperm/fertility test can show the condition or what shape sperm is in - normal or what.

I know more guys than I can count who have gotten women knocked up while on cycle. Some were on LARGE cycles and hadn't been off in years and years. A close friend of mine just had his swimmers tested. He hasn't been fully off in over 10yrs. Docs told him they're fine. I only add this in to say you don't necessarily have to be fully off to get a girl pregnant. But, at 40.... comming off may be your best bet!

The only thing that helped was time. It just took time off and the longer I was off the more sperm I had and more were the proper shape. As @IronRobi said I have a friend who we joke about saying don't sit beside him. He has been on gear pretty much 365 days a year with some small breaks for 20 plus years and has 3 kids.
For a man yes a sperm test is the same as a fertility test.

I have zero swimmers. My wife and I went through the whole fertility drug cocktail. I was on HMG/HCG/Clomid for over 6 months straight. It was horrible, and in the end I didn’t get enough swimmers to knock her up naturally, but they were able to harvest sperm for freezing.

If you have any decent swimmers you can get them extracted and then use an artificial insemination method. It’s a hell of a lot cheaper and easier than months on fertility hormones. If this was an option for me it would have been my first choice.

I believe the government still pays for 50% of the first attempt for artificial insemination.

I've been looking into to this further online through text and vids and some things still aren't clear.

The use of HCG while on TRT is a good idea but some have doubts.
Some doctors say that although HCG used while on TRT is a great idea, there is a possibility for your body to build tolerance to HCG.

Most doctors, and self-procliamed gurus, claim that they have never ever seen anyone becoming infertile due to TRT. They say that if those on TRT want to conciueve they can do one of 2 things: 1) Drop their TRT range to 150 if they're dosing 200mg per week and start HCG, Clomid protocol while on TRT or 2) get off TRT and start HCG protocol, impreganate wife and get back on TRT.

Thoughts?

The good news is that unless you had fertility issues to begin with, noone has ever became infertile due to TRT itself

100% get off all testosterone supplementation. I went through this already myself, instead of typing it all out again,
here is my post from @Cheapshot's HMG thread.
