Educate me on HGH?

The idea of HGH sounds really appealing to me, I just don’t know and can’t find out much about it. Is HGH something you run on cycle, or can you run it by itself? How’s it all done? I really know nothing about HGH and I have put some research in, but not finding too much to help me understand. Reason I’m interested is because I just finished a test/var cycle but using HGH to burn fat really interests me a ton. Can I run it even though it just finished my cycle? Is it really as effective as a fat burner as people make it seem?

no its not an effective fat burner as people make it seem. many cheaper and more effective alternatives. add in difficulty of obtaining real/good hgh, dont worry about it. most protocols are broscience. doesnt mean they are wrong, just not scientific. most on/off or timing protocols are bro science and are wrong. recent studies prove you cant avoid suppression. so every day/2 or more times a day 5-10 units is about standard for cycling while on gear. taking a rest day one or twice a week is only to save money. the alternative is like hrt like, 1 -5 units a day, dont stop.
id suggest experimenting with mk677 or a peptide combo first. if you think its bs, then you probably think hgh is shit too. lots a guys used to run 5 units/ 5 days a week(one kit of generics a month) while on cycle. some said it didnt do anything others said it did and i think that was all in their heads.

My knowledge is basic at best but the two things that I have picked up is...

1. It's expensive as hell (for legit GH)
2. It needs to be ran for a long time

People have a lot of luck with MK677 though given it can cause bloating as a side, seems counterproductive to use it whilst trying to shed fat. You're using FM so diet will on point, have you looked into fat burners - Helios, Clen, Yohimbine etc?

PS. Did you not just finish your first cycle and now you're considering running HGH? 🤔

I myself would run peptide pulsing gh compounds before trying to find good gh.
Problem with generic gh is quality. It could be gh, but lower quality and then it won’t do shit.
Gh will help to keep you leaner, but not if you are eating like a pig. It works better if you are being careful with your diet.
Honestly I ran gh for likely 2-3 years on and off. I still have a kit and I havnt bothered with it, so if that lets you know what I think.
You want good skin drink collagen, lol, no seriously.
Eat and train hard and you will do better than trying to find another shortcut with gh. Same goes with insulin.

If you're interested solely in the fat burning properties, I would recommend GH Frag. They've sectioned out the portion of the HGH chain responsible for fat loss. It'll be about 10x cheaper and give you the results you want.

All good posts here although imo GH can be used as a fatburner if used the right way. How effective it is is another question.

IMO here is the best bang for your buck -

"For fat loss - take a peptide dose (100-125mcg of Mod GRF(1-29) and IPA *200+* each) 1 hour pre-cardio exercise after a long fasting without food. Best time is after waking up, while in a fasted state. Stay fasted, wait an hour, then do some cardio. During cardio exercise, maintain a moderate intensity for between 30-60 minutes. 45 minutes is a good session. You do not want to go too hard or too long. A moderate pace will utilize Free Fatty Acids (FFA) at the highest rate for energy. Refrain from eating for approximately 2 hours after your exercise because this is the time the body is still burning fat as fuel. After that initial 2hrs, you must eat throughout the day to reduce the chance of muscle catabolism (breakdown). An option I also like is to take another dose 3 hrs after the first one while still fasted and wait another hour before eating a protein only meal or drink.

For practical purpose you would want all the factors that work on lipolysis to be active at once. With the GHRH/GHRPs they begin to release GH w/in 5 minutes and result in peak GH in plasma at the 30 minute mark. Lipolysis is delayed by 1 hour, so One hour and 5 minutes post administration I would expect lipolysis to begin with peak activity 1 hour and 35 minutes post administration. (2 hrs?)"

That's a quote from the old DatBtrue site, knocks 5 lbs a month of fat off of me per month like clockwork. That might not sound like much but it is reliable and consistent. To crank it up another notch you can add caffeine (at same time as peps 1-200+) and yohimbine 5mg+(see video in logs of ABmonkey or Easy57 for timing and instructions). Also could use Ephedrine 24mg+ in and EC or ECA stack but I wouldn't use more than any one of those stims (yoho or eph) at the same time with the caff, to much strain on heart and shit.
There are other compounds that are effective too but imo these are best value/$ and decent risk/reward ratio.
Edit* - I'd add albuterol to this list as well.

I am interested in the frag too, might try it next time I purchase

Hey IR, how do you recommend using it? what dosing protocol? Would what I posted work the same way?

@Cumminstech2 - IR probably knows more about this particular subject than anyone I can think of, I'd take his advice over most any other. I can even accept it when he disagrees with mine :)

Thanks Brother. Actually your protocol is pretty much exactly how I recommend using GH Frag.

I see all kinds of different protocols for frag, and some of them leave me scratching my head because if you look at the way frag actually works some of these protocols don't make logical sense.

Without getting too technical, frag causes the body to release stored fat into the blood stream to be used for energy. It's then up to you to use that energy (aka CARDIO). If you introduce a competing energy source (food) you're going to drastically minimize the effects. There's lots of protocols that say to take it before bed. But if you think through it... the frag will still release the fat for energy, you'll then go to sleep which slows down your metabolism, how much of that energy are you burning? And as we all know, any unspent energy will circulate and get stored again as fat.

So very simply.... 500mcg taken 30 minutes before FASTED CARDIO.

I don’t want to derail the thread but I have a question. I’m more interested in HGH increases for healing than fat loss. Not that I couldn’t lose some fat but I have injuries that won’t go the F away. Are the peptides good in this respect? I. Asking because MK 677 did nothing to help me heal.
Thanks for any advice.

Have you used this protocol? I’ve never used frag, I’ve heard mixed reviews. Would you say there is a noticeable difference between fasted cardio and the addition of drag?

I can only offer my personal opinion here and I don't think it should be taken with too much weight because there are so many confounding factors.

I'll explain - typically your average meathead doesnt use any training, healing or fat loss modality in a way that allows any one particular part of the program to be analyzed in a meaningful scientific way. IOW much like the reasoning behind why we tell cycling noobs to start with a simple Test cycle, 'if you have too many drugs in the cycle you won't be able to tell what is doing what'.

For healing - each injury is different for many reasons to begin with. Hard to compare a finicky inflamed rotator cuff with a torn ACL. If you use GH (dosage and dosing protocol/timing being another variable) but also maybe include physio, chiro, masssage, icing, heating, NSAIDS, supplements like curcumin, etc etc. Hard to say what is doing what so it's hard to know what anyone's anecdotes are worth.

Now that that is out of the way, yeah I think they work. A bunch of people I know irl that have used them think so too, and there sure are a ton of people on line who do too (plenty naysayers as well of course).

How well? How cost effective? Compared to GH? Way too hard for me, or anyone else imo, to quantify with any precision.

For fatloss ? Pretty much the same answer of course but I will say that I would be more inclined to spend the money on them for this purpose than for injury, more of an effect is perceived on my part.

Bottom line I use them periodically for both those reasons and I am not one to throw cash around haphazardly.

Off topic but kinda on...

I've read lots of positive things about Ostarine (MK2866) for healing purposes. Haven't used it myself as I have no reason too but maybe worth investigating further.

Ostarine was completely useless and I tried it from two reputable sources. Did notice a little more definition but that’s it. I’m not on anything other than SARMS and haven’t been in a while. While I likes some of the SARMS, I didn’t find any helped that much with healing and none are remotely close to a decent dose of test.
Appreciate the thought and comment all the same, I read the same and tried because of it.

Good to know.

IMO most who rave about SARMs (from a performance perspective) have not used AAS. I used LGD4033 and I'd have been better off flushing money down the toilet. SR9009 looks promising though from the little I have read about it.

@ABMonkey - been off TRT for a long time so some of the SARMS had an affect. Ostarine - Nothing, LGD - a bit, rad140 and s23 both had a pronounced affect but nothing compared to a TRT dose of test. I haven’t tried SR9009.
Rad140 and S23 both kicked in fast and stopped working after 3-4 weeks. No question s23 is doing something as my nuts shrunk. Same on rad140 but not to the same degree. From all my reading - PCT is recommended for both.
Dollar for dollar - they don’t provide the same returns.
I wanted to try them all one at a time to see what they did while keeping my calories and routine the same - I didn’t notice much of a strength difference but I don’t lift heavy anymore.

HGH is very expensive and should be ran for months not weeks. Did I mention that ugl HGH is expensive and pharma grade would be equivalent to paying a decent mortgage per month.

Sorry Brother, I missed this.... yes I've used that protocol many times. I wouldn't say frag is as effective as something such as DNP, but it is a great tool to add in along with cardio, diet, helios, etc... to maximize your efficiency. But you're not going to take it and give 100% credit to the frag.
