Concrete mold plates...worth the discount?

With the insane price increase of weights, are the cheaper concrete plates worth it? Has anyone used them? Some guys in Ottawa do reinforced with fiber and steel then rubber painted. They look great. I don't throw my weight around. So why not save a buck?? Thoughts?

If they are solid dont see why not. If you aren’t dropping them they should be fine.

I have all bumpers but still never drop them.

You can buy different grades of concrete as well. I have 1" steel plates with a hole cut in them. They work great
