Big bust *eye roll

Seriously wasting there time on shit like this meanwhile we have a ruthless opioid crisis ruining and taking lives daily.

Was always disgusted too when law enforcement focused on this rather than placing all their resources towards the meth phen crisis maybe they don’t have the ability to

Just read on another forum actually this person was soliciting via social media to younger people and meeting them in person and their parents called him in. Bad judgment on that one

I was shocked to see a street crime unit spend any time on this actually. My initial thought was maybe there was a reported link to other drugs and the Aas was just a way in the door.

But after posting the above I would suspect that this was a community safety thing. Parents call detachment demanding answers. It’s easy because all the info is there. Something must be done because the community is demanding it.

Boom door kicked and you’re fucked.

Because you’re a dumbfuck openly advertising and selling to kids.

Deserves everything he gets. This wasn’t targeted on a steroid dealer. This was taking a mouth breather out of the food chain to make some parents happy.

Good on them!

theres bigger fish to fry than this crime. but i read it was social media attracter seller...pretty dumb on their part

I still think the govt should be focusing their resources on cracking down on hard drugs such as (heroine, fent, meth ). Oh wait they are, they're talking about legalizing them

Still to me it is surprising they did it. I know many guys who sell to young people via social media.
They never get their doors kicked in. I would presume this guy just had bad luck or was ridiculously high profile.

If it's the kids parents that called it in then he was obviously very sloppy.

Looks like the cops at that precinct have some free gear to run.

For this amount of a seizure is a joke and a waste of time. They would have spent more making a case against him than they seized.

Doing a street greet on a drug that is a delayed use drug of a higher value is not only criminally stupid, it's criminally lazy. $15 more for shipping and changing the places you drop off your packages at should be pretty standard for this sort of deal.

Problem with the heroin, fentanyl and oxy is the people that bring it here own our lawmakers.

Or demands were made . Maybe demands from folks with community or political ties.

Maybe additional thoughts of recs and the anabolics were just the way in. Finks say all sorts of things to get their fink freedoms and money.

So many things could have driven it.

I’m pretty sure this wasn’t a project, this was something that there was pressure for it to be dealt with or there was info that other drugs were involved. Could even be a leverage thing for info on something else.

There is a reason and we won’t know what that is. One thing it wasn’t was a ploy to take down a small time anabolics peddler that was relatively a nobody.

i can't actually read the names on the boxes or labels.

it would be funny if they sent the gear for testing only to find out it's just sesame oil in vials.

I think this is also a good reminder to note on the product container, not the monograph, that "this product is for research purposes only" and, not to put the name of the conpound on tje actually container, box, or monograph, because a 10ml bottle with a label that says "TP - This product is for research purposes only" is addressed differently by criminal defense lawyer than a box, insert, and label that all state: " Testosterone Propionate for intramuscular injection" ...imho

I tried to do some rough math, best I can figure is that the estimated value of that bottle of bac water is around $7000. You can probably get it a bit cheaper at your local drug store.

Edit - "of bac water"

And after an "Exhaustive 3 month investigation" involving 5 officers and $300,000 of cost, they got their man!

It’s certainly a way to attack it.... but I have a feeling any decent crown could snuff that well enough that even a justice would see through it.

Never know though... defence counsel can conjure up some pretty crazy shit!

This has "result of a side investigation discovered in the process of investigating a much larger investigation" written all over it. For the value of that to investigate is expensive. To put that through the courts with a possible appeal? As taxpayers, we should be outraged because the cost vs what they gained in "saving society from quote harmful drugs unquote" is going to be so freeking out of realism that it'll be horrible.

I mean they could have clipped him quickly and without a real investigation if he was criminally stupid but still, the cost of the courts with the crown involved? They'll have to bring in steroid specialists to testify about each compound. Each compound will probably have to be tested or the defence could say there's nothing more than oil in the bottles they didn't test. It has total fucking disaster written on it because it's a very rare occurrence. It'll be financial black hole for taxpayers to prosecute that guy.

They obviously released this to the news to get some "pop" behind what the final cost of this disaster will be. "Specialists" interviewed and spouting the evil of the needle. The public is not served if it costs 400 grand to take 70k in steroids off the street.
