More potential reasons to take creatine

My brother got a great response from creatine. I didn’t find any difference, but it could be that I eat a lot of red meat.

I sip on creatine, bcaa's, sea salt, taurine, glutamine. During my workouts and I love it

I just swapped out BCAA’s for EAA’s added branched cyclic dextrin (from Canadian Protein) to creatine monohydrate and drink intra workout.
I’m loving it, taking in building blocks, getting crazy pumps and energy from a carb that doesn’t spike insulin with the above benefits from creatine.

Did you try all the various forms of creatine? I noticed that I don't respond that well to mono.. but I feel I get the benefits of other forms such as CEE, creatine cytrate etc..

When I take creatine my system can handle it for some reason get runs within 20 min any tips to help prevent that?

I dont respond well to it either not in any negative way I just dont see the benefits everyone screams about. Pretty disappointing considering it's highly studied and so cheap to use.

What do consider lots of red meat? I dont shy from red meat but I'm not sure I'd say its alot.

I eat beef at least once a day at lunch, a lot of times twice. Likely a bit over a pound most days.
That or pork. I’m not a big chicken fan.

I know you are likely thinking my arteries are plugged, I have not done the calcium score, but 2 years ago my ldl was 1.8 so well below what is considered optimal (2 or below is perfect). I’m not totally sold on injesting cholesterol gives you high cholesterol. Now unless it’s potato chips, I keep my carbs pretty moderate. I’m more of a meat and veggies type of person.

I think there's much more to cholesterol levels than the cholesterol you eat as well. When my cholesterol levels shot up out of no where I did lots of research and found
-%80 of your blood cholerserol is not from what you eat, but your what your body makes itself.
-high cholesterol comes from how your body is making and processing cholesterol.
-hypothyrodism is a huge cause of high cholesterol in your blood. At the same time, your thyroid levels might appear to be within range, but they might be out of whack for you specifically. So a lightly lower amount of T3/T4 could cause all your cholesterol levels.
-as we age we are told "your cholestorel is more likely to get higher than it should".. well fuck me, figure out what in my body isn't working like it should and my cholesterol levels will go norml again.
-gut health.... It really seems that we are learning more and more how important gut health is to ALL the other body systems. More research needs to be done because your gut function really is a huge influence over your body

I’ve always been of the thought that it’s sugar that increases cholesterol not fats.

Sugar is really pretty bad stuff but it’s added to everything.

yeah, I do get sugar in my foods, but normally don’t eat historically sugar items. I’m more of a salt fan.

I believe it has a lot to do with sugars, apparently they raise triglycerides as well. Also inflammation that also elevated cholesterol as well. It has a role in the process.
Trans fats etc are also hard on lipid levels. Hence why many can eat clean as far as fats etc and still have issues affecting the lipid profile
