Whats your back workout routine like?

Thats one muscle group I have found hardest to see results with and I make time for it every week with Lat pull downs and deadlifts.
I do a lot of back work...Deads with rest paused system, bent over rows, over and underhand, lat pulldown with several hand placements one arm rows, landmine one arm work different hand placements. Eat a lot post back workout as it takes a lot out of me due to the size and thickness, when i am pumped it is nutty, these are flat pics, no pumps at all...
I have pretty good genetics and could do a lot more with my back, but i try to maintain balance. As i bring my legs up, my back automatically grows. My lat insertions are pretty cool as they are extremely low as you can see in my june 2020 pics, right down to the bottom of my waist almost. My trainers over the years always coomented on my genetics, and ability to do well, if i was not a career guy...I wouldn't make cash in BBing, it is my hobby only...So i treat it as such, i was approached a few times to get into it deeper, but never even thought about it twice, payed heed to the compliment and carried on my way...
My bis could use some extra size, even lean they are over 19 inches, and when pumped and offseason over 20 inches, but i am decently tall and my chest and back over power them with a 51 inch set of boobies, its tough...
I dont have what it takes imho to get up with the tall top guys, and if i really focused on it i may do ok, but i dont ever take the time and details required to do so, and now i am out of the league as i am in my 50s, still good, but not as good...
I may do some masters stuff moving forward, not sure..

I have started doing bent over rows and feel my back is getting more involved...would like to setup a landmine in my basement as I have seen videos and seems like a great upper-body equipment.

Would like to hear your thoughts on nutrition to keep this level of strength and size. I have always had a tough time putting on mass due to my family genetics, everyone in my family is a hard gainer and so am I
 
I was eating a dc diet. Basically eating a lot of protein and fats. His rule was anytime I had carbs I had to have a bunch of protein before eat my carbs. It was an ear when hungry approach. If I wasn’t hungry enough to grow I either wasn’t training hard enough or I was having digestive issues and I would take enzymes to assist. Or dig into it and keep things going.
No data and carbs together or as little carbs possible when taking in fats. Protein and more protein and olive oil intake with most meals of protein and other good fats.
It’s a lot of food.
Also lots of rest days and high intense continuous improvement in either extra reps or adding weight at each workout. The goal was even five lbs added or an extra rep and lots of rest pause stuff. Static holds etc.
It works well.

I think i asked what hgh you use but im not sure if im allowed to do that. Trying to see what the general consenus is for the best ug lab. If thats what you use. And again sorry if im not allowed to ask that but im just curious about the lab not the source.

I can't remember where i was talking about the guys in the gym parking lot and me wrapping their seat belt around his neck and giving a shot. They go to the same gym i do. Several times i have seen the 2 fellas and basically ignore them, but of course if they are near when i am lifting it gives me extra abilities...lol
Two days ago, they went to my wife, and said we feel uncomfortable and want to mend fences with your hubby, would he freak out if we approached him,?
LOL, my wife said he is a great guy and doesn't harbor resentment but be nice, or who knows....
Next day which was yesterday they nodded as i was getting into bench to press. I smiled, they came over extended hands and said, we are sorry, we were excited and acting stupid and don't want to wonder what you might do.

I said i forgot about it ten minutes later guys and you were a couple dicks and i did nothing to deserve what you did and bullies are not cool. at all, and you never know what may happen, in these scenarios. I got pissed a bit and reacted.

The driver said holy fuck man, when you got out of your truck i froze, and then you put my seat-belt around my neck and gave me a jab, that was the craziest thing i felt in a long time.... When i saw your eyes i thought i was done for...lol

I give them credit as i honestly was awaiting a buddy to show up and even the score or something, but they didn't want it to continue, so i shook their hands and told them its done on my end, and appreciate the apology.

That doesn't happen often, but i do actually feel better as i dont like anticipating shit coming down if its all good, it eats away at me slowly.
On another note i had another asshole approach me in his car in a save on parking lot, ill write it out another day. it involved a priock trying to tell me off when i was backing into a parking spot and had my 2 dogs in the backseat. Then he beaked off, i told him to pound sand and my windows were open and he was driving up alongside my f350 and was reaching up toward my great Dane with something in his hand shiny.

My wife spotted him and i lost it as it was something shiny, and he was trying to punch at my pooch after he thought i was gone. I ran like a bat out of hell when my wife yelled at him across the parking lot with 2 empty 5 gallon Canadian springs water bottles and my boat shoes, he fucked off so fast he nearly crashed into 2 different vehicles and about 6 people came to my defense and tried to get him as they saw the whole thing. That was cool for once. Fucken city life and me do not bond well, a couple more weeks and our house is done and back to the country for this good ol boy.

My wife was pissing herself laughing at me running with those 2 - 5 gallon jugs, literally almost crying, and some other lady came and asked what happened and wife told her, and she laughed as well, and said well, at least he doesn't take that shit from these punks these days, good for him..... I also got a lecture after the laughing was over about weapons guys may have, and i am aware, but don't care, and may end up as a statistic if i don't get out of the city soon.

My gains are going very well, same cycle, same training but getting much stronger and gaining some good size while keeping fat at bay after my depletion diet to rid my fat. Ill get some pics someday, when i am taking pics which is not often. I can run faster than i thought.
People are funny, they will stick up for a dog or person with a dog, but if i was alone no one steps up..Cameras were rolling and one guy came as i had a big rock in my hand in case he had a weapon, or i couldn't catch him, his back window was going to be demolished as he fled. I went to Maverick top gun last weekend and we pre booked our seats online, something happened as we got there early and were seated in awesome seats we BOOKED, 2 dudes came up and said we needed to move as we were in their seats. I ignored them as wife was showing them her phone and what seats we had on our prebooked tix.
they were whining for about 5 minutes and i could tell wife was getting annoyed, so i finally looked over and said..."guys the flick is about to start and we were here first, please head to the lobby and ask, but we arent moving fellas"

So back to trng. I am at 252 last night in the gym. My bis are at 19.75 non pumped and both equal pretty much exactly which is awesome since my accident on my horse and I am proud to get them both equal in size and strength.
I looked like a freak after training yesterday as I am extremely veiny right now with summer heat and adding in extra calories to my regiment.
I only wear baggie long sleeves in gym but yesterday it was hit in gym so I took off sweatshirt and had tshirt under and I actually impressed myself and I don’t do that easy.
Momma was commenting a lot also and she never stokes my ego.
So I will keep on churning and hope to be 265 in about 6-8 weeks and stay as lean as I am right now. My legs are getting crazy and by far best I’ve looked in many years.
Same cycle npp 400-450 week, test 350 mg per week and masteron at 200 mg per week with 40mg anavar per day added in.
No ai etc no gh for last few weeks as I take a break now and then from it.
I may up my doses a wee bit to 1500 mg per week all total with var and injects.
It’s fun doing a depletion diet to rid the fat and go low calories for awhile and then turn it back in and grow like a damn weed.
335 bench press for 12 reps no spotter the other day. If momma was there I could have gotten more but I don’t like looking stupid stuck under a bar and sometimes when weight is that high and reps that high I gas out instantly without much warning.
 
I have maxed out most of the machines and cables etc at GoodLife now. I was across from a dude doing tricep push down and he was lifting a lot and maxed out the cable machine. I was on opposite side and was at 3/4 or a bit more on stack. I never see fellas beating me on many strength lifts in pretty much any gym. Not often anyway. I was passed off at myself.
Then I noticed that his side was set up with the extra sheave on top of stack which gives mechanical advantage and cuts weight in half and mine was straight through no extra sheave so full weight no mechanical advantage.
After he left and was out of site I pushed it down and it was easy. Lol
I compete with myself and some days I compete with others that don’t even know they are competing. Lolol I’m sure many of us do that or we wouldn’t be doing this at a high level for so long, need a drive to keep it up for 30 years now plus a couple more years.
Feel great joints and tendons honestly feel like I’m still 20.
Going to the next level here over next couple months. Love it!!!!
 
One thing about it is when in a bigger pond it pushes one deeper and harder into training and results.
Last few weeks I’ve been in Calgary for a couple weeks with work and Edmonton as I live not far from there.
All the gyms I go to Edmonton dudes are much larger and more jacked overall.
It makes me push harder as I like being one of the larger guys and try to be one of the strongest always as I am competitive big time at times. Big fish in a small pond out in the mountains, but larger centres I pick it up way more and love it a lot.
I am heading to Toronto for a couple weeks then back home, then to Hamilton for a couple weeks coming up all for work. I look forward to going out east again as there was a lot of good shape larger fellas out there when I lived there and it’s fun to see the difference east to west and new gyms etc.

I drive everywhere and get paid mileage and food and rooms etc. As I cannot fly due to idiot Trudeau being a twat and not letting up as the rest of the world on the mandates YET. Then I can fly and take a lot less time to get out east lol.
Anyway I am just jumping in to say I’m at 254 today and impressing myself as I develop and improve.
Someday I’ll take a pic. As mentioned I take no pics of anything unless momma does and sends them to Me.
So one day I’ll actually get her to take a few pics.
Veiny full and waist is small and back looks wicked and other parts of course are going well.
Arms are crazy right now and legs are big.
Looking to get to 265 or so and low fat, slow but sure I’m gaining.
280 and onward is too big for my goals right now.
End goal is shredded 245. That will be attainable and look good. I’m not into the bulk look anymore and want to continue for many more decades is my full end goal and be strong into my 70’s which is still a ways off but since day one that has been the objective. Not be weak and frail.
My gym only goes to 100s for dumbbells. Which sucks as I like pressing them for chest etc and I fling them around like nothing as my last gym in bc was up to 140 and those were a challenge but I can do them pretty easily.
Always better guys and stronger guys out there for sure, which is good because that’s what keeps me driven.
I compete with myself, and the odd stranger that doesn’t know I’m competing with them. Lol not full on obviously, I’m not a whack job, but if I see someone pressing a whole stack or whatever I see, I wait for them to leave, then go try it, my wife laughs her aas off at me as I don’t realize she is watching at times.

Went to doc on Friday and measured me and weighed etc.

When you say lots of olive oil does that mean you just cookwith it or do u just down some olive oil? Lol.
Like ive wondered how people add certain healthy oils to theyre calorie count. Like its not like when u cook with oil u can determine how much falls off it and how much soaks in.
And when you take enzymes for digestice issues what do you mean by that?

But I add it to lots of things.

Betaine Hcl is a good digestive enzyme. Do some google searches on it, lots of good info and what it is used for.

Thanks! I have upped my protien and calories to an insane surplus i should be packin onthe pounds still but i havent gained a pound in like 4 weeks but my shit have given me some clear signs somethings off lol. I was just thinking get metamucil, but ill checj that out instead thx!
Thanks for the info on the oil fats too, thats a game changer, i think.... i have had to make decisions between healthy and high calories. So i wanna figure out ways to not haveto eat junk to get large calories quick
 
I eat carbs only twice per day, Before and after workout. I do not measure them, only by eye. Then one day per week i eat whatever i enjoy. I keep fats high, good fats mostly, and protein very high. This is not a competition diet which would be much more strict and planned out with a roadmap etc... Dropped so far from around 280 to now 240, as i am going back up again here as i went quite low in BF. We don't gain on a deficit so back up very slowly. Keeping fat in check, strength is great and going strong...
What kind of pictures did you want for inspiration?
