Hey just looking for thoughts.

Just finished my first cycle
Test-e for 12 weeks at 500mg weekly with 25 mg anavar daily for 4 weeks (end of cycle)

Currently going on a cruise of 200mg test e weekly.

Thoughts? Opinions? Advice? How long to cruise?
 
Why Cruise and not PCT after first cycle? How old are you and what are your goal?. Most people should PCT after first cycle...shutting down for extended periods of time have long term implications and you need to have done the personal risk/reward analysis.

Dosage and length of cruise depends on BW. The goal is to get all BW markers back in range for an extended period of time. The answer to your questions are individual based on how you react to testosterone. And that answer will change over time.

Reason for cruise is to not lose most of the strength/ muscle I built from the cycle, from my understanding it can be potentially harder on the body and a bigger waste of time constantly blasting and doing a pct over and over rather then going on a low dose of test to bring blood markers back to base. Maybe add hcg.

28 years old training for 14 years. Goal is to do a bodybuilding show in the next 2 years. Currently sitting at 205lbs/ 6’ at about 13-15% bf.

Plan is to get bloods checked again at week 8 of cruise.

Obviously I’m new to the anabolics side so please don’t take this as I know anything, just sharing information and trying to gain more knowledge.

Cruising is still a cycle. I get where you are coming from but just get off and do pct.
 
I wouldn't recommend blast and cruising at 28 - unless you have an abnormally low test count for your age.

A good PCT shouldn't have you losing too much of your gains. And you'll be getting more good results on your 2nd cycle.

I'd also have recommended that you'd done only Test for your first run, not adding in any orals or other compounds. Too late to change that, but I'd be careful not to try "progressing" in the PEDs too quickly.

There is a pct section in the forum with lots of good information. I was going to summarize a basic pct but it's better if you go read the section! It covers waaaaay more information that you should know.

I was just reading over some of it but ended up getting a bit more confused than anything after reading the threads. Seems like everybody has a bit of a different way of doing it.

I have Nolvadex, Aromosin and HCG on hand for the pct but am a bit confused on the exact process of how to implement them. My last pin was 3 days ago of test-e at 125mg.

Any suggestions or directions would be appreciated.

Yep, because everyone has a different physiology. Their are some basic rules or common sense guidelines to follow but finding what works (and doesn't) for you as an individual is one of the most important things in the bodybuilding game. Not just the drugs but, diet, training and mental prep too, all aspects.
Absolutely take note of what others do but don't assume it will affect you the same way.
FWIW I agree with all the other posts, hang on to your natural production for as long as you can. The reasons that can be argued for are plenty but chief among them for me might be the simple inconvenience of the literally thousands of injections it could save you.

I might as well mention one of the other most important things in the game which is "planning ahead" . Many a guy has fucked themselves over by not doing that. It is especially important in the acquisition of pharmaceuticals, this is not a dependable supply chain. Their are shortages, delays, mistakes etc. Among the most basic advice for noobs is to have every single thing you will possibly need on hand before you start a cycle - Everything ! Syringes, alcohol pads, "anti" drugs and supplements and of course PCT products, PCT should be well planned and considered part of the cycle.

Maintaining almost all cycle gainz for an extended time can be done without cruising, frankly IMO some guys who choose to cruise make that choice because its it's less effort but nothing is free, the easier road comes with a cost too.

I believe it is a fallacy that you cannot maintain most of the mass between cycles, IF you’re not anywhere near your genetic potential and depending on the drug used.

Back in my 20s for my first five cycles I would do eight weeks on 16 weeks off. No real PCT just taper down (we didn’t know any better back then).

If I gained 20 I’d keep 15 if I gained 15 I’d keep 10 to 12. If you keep training intensity high, and focus on nutrition you can keep the majority of your gains.

Its mental for most that balloon then shrink. The problem is people don’t get as good pump, can’t maintain the strength for sure and not as tight and then lose motivation to training intensely. This where the mistake start.

The other issues is dosages . Using too high dosages or high androgen drugs…b-ball, deca, etc. you balloon up too quick, mostly retaining water. Slow and steady should be the goal.

Those are great points. Some more planning and sticking to the plan would definitely be beneficial on my end.

I do have the gear for the pct including aromasin, HCG, and nova, but guess I got derailed by all the information out there.

At this point I feel like the same has happened with actual direction in implementing the pct compounds over the next weeks/months.

People also overthink PCT. It’s as simple as restarting your system and balancing estrogen in the meantime

The number of weeks is fine. Everyone is different but HCG twice per week and a single dosage or even 1/2 of asin per week should be plenty. Then the nova is just insurance.

Awesome! That’s simple enough, is there a recommendation for the HCG dosage? 1000iu 2 times a week a good place to start?

500-1000 units 2x per week. Like I say keep it simple. It really depends on you. It might not be the best measure, but how shrivelled up did you’re nuts get and how you respond to hcg

I never used HCG, simply because there was too much crap HCG floating around.

I always did a 4 week run of a combination of Nolvadex and Clomid. Its been so long since i ran a pct, i can't remember the exact dosages of each. I'll go through old notes of mine and try to find what they were and post them.

One thing that i do remember is that I lost very little of the gains that I made when running this protocol.
