Cutting weight

When I'm cutting weight would I just lower carbs and make up for that percentage of caloric intake with extra protein and keep lifting weights or do some just cut down their entire caloric intake? Lastly would one keep lifting weights regularly or just do cardio as less calories may effect strength and gains

How much weight are you looking to lose?

Whats your current diet and training like now?
I'm 202 now and 6ft. I dont have a particular goal but maybe 10 or 15 pounds so I can see some abs. Nothing drastic or unhealthy though. I haven't lifted any weights consistantly for about a month I have a new job where i don't have much spare time. Now I'm just jogging 3 times a week 20 minutes each time but I'm trying to fast 16 hours a day and also may starting lifting a Bit again if I can squeeze it in

I find the easiest way to lose a bit of weight is to cut out the shit food you are eating. And since we all do eat some Shit food, there will be something to cut.
Then I do increase my protien a bit and reduce my carbs

Now I always cut my calories a bit lower then what I actually want, that way if I walk by the bag a chips and grab 4 or 5 chips I don’t go over.

Just cut down on the carbs , there’s no big secret there, and yeah more cardio will help, maybe some tren too lol

I can eat 5000 cals and loose fat or eat 5000 cals and gain fat, based on my carbs 120 to 150 carbs a day i can lean out even on 5000 cals. When i get over 200 carbs a day thats when i put excess fat back on.

If i really wanted to cut fast , for me it be 3500 cals and low carbs 80 to 100 a day, you still wanna eat enough food to keep your body running properly, it takes about 3 days for your thyroid to slow down, from not eating enough, so keep that in mind when you diet, keep tricking your metabolism and keep your carbs low. I was really shocked when i started eating more food, i was under eating for a long time.

Obviously this is what works for me, so it may not work for all .

Hear are 2 days this week there all the same i eat the same daily , and im set for 4800 cals a day, usally exceed that by 200, but i loose fat with these macros, but i superset everything, and usally put 1.5 hrs in of workout daily, and i dont do alot of cardio, next to none.

Nice thanks man.

@Jerbear - You don't need any PED's but some will assist in retaining muscle. A 'safe' alternative to retain more of your muscle on a caloric defecit would be primo.

There is no magic to leaning out but it takes willpower. Keep working out and train hard but if you want energy you will have to replace your carbs with healthy fats. Like @Sorbate already said if you eat bad food - stop. You can increase your protein if you like but if you are already getting 1-1.5 g of protein per lb of BW, I don't think you need anymore. This can be debated all day and this is just one person's opinion.

If you know your maintenance calories - for me it is approx 2700-2800, cut the total calories by 10%, there are lots of options but I prefer carb cycling. One day under 100 g, one day around 100 g, and one day 100-150 g, rinse / repeat.

Cals in and cals out - sound simple because it is. For top level guys there is much more to it but for the average guy who throws around weight at the gym there isn't much more to it other than shifting macros around.

good luck bud.

Thanks man. What kind of primo doses might be typical for this? I'm the kind of guy that likes the lowest possible effective dose.

Could start with 100 Test, 100 Primo. To cruise and cut.

I'm currently running 100 Test and 100 Mast, cutting as well.

Find your maintenance, cut your calories by 500. Weigh yourself at the same time once a week, aim for about 2lbs loss per week. If losing more, bump calories up, if losing less, bump calories down. Keep protein the same 1g per lb of body weight to keep it simple is plenty. You will want the carbs for strength and performance in the gym, also help to try and get a pump.

I don't think there is a 'right' answer for this and my amount will be less than most of the guys would take because I am older and concentrate more on health than PED's. That being said - 100-150 mg of Primo a week on top of your TRT is a nice addition. Has no impact on my blood or BP and I can manipulate my body easier. I tried 300 mg per week for a few months before and didn't find that much of a difference from 150. That being said, I most likely didn't run it long enough. I respond very well to low doses - some people don't.
Be patient - results should be measured by weeks and not days. Keep a journal and pics if you like so you can track your progress and figure out what works best for you.
good luck

I just started with 140 test and 60 primo per week but maybe I might up it.

When I reduce my calorie intake, I feel my body weakening. I have no strength, and I cannot increase my load. So I only increase muscle mass by eating protein. A few days ago, I bought a smart scale for the body https://ww.vont.com/product/smart-scale-bathroom-scale-weightscale/ . And now I want to start my sports blog. I’ll be able to track the amount of water, fat, and muscle in my system and share my results with my followers. I’ll experiment with my body and try a few different diets. Let’s see what happens. Wish me luck

You need to not just reduce calories, you need to switch macros. More good fats, and saturated is good fat...More protein and less carbs, you should not feel weak after reducing calories to a huge extent if you do it correctly..

If you're just trying to get back in shape or see some abs it's just calories in calories out. Depending on your goals you don't need to overcomplicate things. As long as you eat enough protein you should be good. You know your body better then anyone else. For example if I cut carbs I feel tired all day so I don't but you might get away with it.

Edit: just saw the date of the post hopefully you figured it out by now 😂

This not a good answer but never the less still an answer, I stopped eating everything that tasted good. You need to watch hidden calories too. It’s very easy to drink excess calories and not even realize. The same can also be said for condiments. Drinks I keep it simple water , black coffee, green tea no milk at all. My lunch today was ground turkey no sodium seasoning with green beans and asparagus. No butter nothing and a bottle of water. SaltyDawg
