Anyone have any experince with acreage tractors?

A good friend of mine is down sizing and is selling a nearly new Kiotti acreage tractor.

I have a ride on mower, but the appeal of the disel 5 foot mower, bucket and abliity to add impliments appeals to me

There are quite a few decent brands available, I believe that brand is also decent.

Seems you can buy new with zero down and zero interest. You should consider new rather then buy someone else's trouble

If it’s a decent price and you’ve looked up the reviews online, go for it.

It's a good point I can buy a new tractor with near 0% interest or 0%... I'll have to look at what the offers are..

I wouldn't buy a zero turn.. Need a tractor with implements if I'm going to upgrade.

I sell zero turns and tractors, zero turn hands down if you have obstacle s

What is the best tractor deal out there ?
The smaller tractors there quite a few to choose from. But to answer your question, depends on what you want to do with it and do you ever plan on reselling it. If you mày resell it someday Kubota and maybe Massy Ferguson if your going to keep it forever I would also look at brands like Kioti (only if you have a dealer close) little tractors hold their value extremely well as a rule.

zero turns can only cut grass.. I'm looking for more.
A midount mower for a tractor is about the same price as a 50" Toro zero turn then you don't have to put it on an off your tractor, so economically it can make sense to get both

Depends alot on how many attachments you want and will use. My buddy bought a Kubota for around his house and the attachments soon added up to as much as the tractor..haha

Just a rough idea if this is a good deal..

I looked up this zero turn.. its about 4,000$ before taxes.. I think I did better to buy the tractor with mower included..

I am not picking up the new tractor until next week.. but I've been watching compact tractor video's all night long on youtube.. Now I feel like I'm 8 years old waiting for christmas day again

Thats a good deal. I have a john deere 30 HP, with bucket, 2 and 4 wheel drive and backhoe attachment and brush cutter.

I can say this.....
Never buy new.
If you get a decent price with low hours and have mechanical knowledge or a friend that does, always buy used, depreciation is a bugger.
8 g is a great deal man.
At my work i can do oil sampling lab testing etc, so i zip out grab some samples and check, with permission of course and then go from there.
You can get this done as well as a person looking to do so.

I use mine constantly. Has cab as well for winter snow removal on my farms driveways and bale storage areas etc.
I wouldnt be near as set up and able to do things without it.

Hydrostatic transmission as well...That is invaluable when moving dirt and snow and utilizing the tractor for its intentions....
I was going for a Kubota at first geared transmission. Then tried the John Deere, big difference for certain.

I am thinking about grabbing another tractor. Want one with 3 pt hitch and pto. Then i can grab a bush hog tiller and clean up yard.
had an old massey super 90 but sold it last year cause it was pissing me off. Lol. But got my work done with it then sold and broke even. Better than renting i guess
