What Workout am I doing?

Hmmmmm interesting you think I would try to escalate things and fight the police šŸ˜… well I donā€™t really give a fuckin shit what you think. You were on about not getting this vaccine etc than op talks about a situation where a cop came and enforced some make believe bs on him and your response was if you see him again just play dumb. From the guy who was so defiant I just thought it was weird that youā€™d get pushed around in real life like that and your rights stamped on just my observation man. Correct me where Iā€™m wrong @Sorbate
I pick and choose my battles. So I find no point in fighting something you wonā€™t win, or the cost isnā€™t worth the benefit.
Plus my personality isnā€™t asshole. I have a lot of friends who work in that line of work and I have listened to them talk about asshats screaming about their rights. Shit they can pretty much profile the people who do that. Like my one buddy says, great I gotta deal with another one of those, I donā€™t feel like enforcing this stupid rule either, but itā€™s not in my hands.
And if they become belligerent enough, his partner loves writing tickets.

I donā€™t think you need to take the vaccine now, you had covid. You had a decent case so likely have enough antibodies/t cells.

Anyhow itā€™s easier just to allow the officer to leave, then go on with what you were doing.

It would be like me fighting with my inspector about a stupid rule. Whatā€™s the point. I just wait till he leaves then do what I want.

There was a time when Iā€™d fight everything. Truthfully all it did was make me angry all the time. Then once I realized you can manipulate within the system and still get your way, actually are farther ahead, thatā€™s when I changed.
As an example I used to get mad at the insurance people about my insurance bill. But now, I talked to them calmly but made sure they knew I was serious, that we needed to do something, I really didnā€™t want to change, but other rates are better. So unlike other years where nothing happened except the increase., this time the person who was helping me went above and beyond and I actually reduced my insurance 30%.

So Iā€™m not contradicting to my vaccine stance at all. There is still choice in taking it.

Your friends with a lot of cops? But you got away with tons of illegal shit? Buddy your very confused arenā€™t you......first off they canā€™t tell you to go inside or go away from somewhere if your alone thatā€™s foraure not a law so you would just let some goof public servant walk up and tell you to beat it when he has not right and You would just suck it up and not stick up for yourself? Interesting approach me I know my rights and Iā€™m a tax payer and Iā€™m also not a fuckin chump. Would I escalate the situation and get all aggressive with the police? Absolutley not. Would I stand my ground and say no? Of course I would Iā€™m not a fuckin joke that lets ppl trampel me hahA

And itā€™s just a little weird that a man in his 50s would let a cop come enforce make believe rules on him because heā€™s afraid of the outcome itā€™s actually pathetic tbh and the fact that you say your friends with these fuckin goofs is even weirder when you do illegal shit and they would throw you under the bus In a second LOL great friendsšŸ˜†šŸ˜† me myself Iā€™m definatley not friends with some fuckin rat pig but hey to each theyā€™re own

Met at work friends, I have chatted to them at work for 13 years. They are customers.
I donā€™t hang around anyone. I donā€™t really have time for real friends.
And I donā€™t sell juice.

Thanks for threatening my life.

Shut up rat šŸ€

Iā€™m so upset I missed thatā€¦. Lol.

nothing wrong with taking a stand folks. But as I have said before and sorbate obviously gets it.

there is a time and a place to argue.

That is in court.

If some wiener is hell bent on firing you off a fine for working out by yourself in the parkā€¦. You arent winning the argument there on those terms.

It will escalate and when it does it will discredit the entire argument you want to make because you will look like the bad guy.

you have to think bigger if you want to fight this stuff.

Even if you did convince that particular officer in that particular moment, what changes? Sure your ego may feel stoked and you would have a great story to tell all your likeminded friends on facebook about.

But no change has been made. Stand your ground on your beliefs sure. Be cordial and take the ticket. Select a court date for trial and see what happens. You will probably be more than happy with the outcome šŸ˜‰. And every turfed case is a win. The fight isnā€™t with the officer. They are enforcing the direction given, the fight is with the government and itā€™s interpretation of the statute and regulations.

that is where you win or lose.

Fighting or arguing with an overzealous by law guy/gal or a cop attending a public complaint in the park gets nowhere. Itā€™s incredibly short sighted.

with that. The stay at home order has been lifted so mostly this should not be a problem anymore. At least in Ontario.

damn yo... i hope i can have as much fun when i get swole haha

seriously should have mentioned i was on university of waterloo property ie the conservation reserve at columbia lake and last year in march they kicked us out too for a few months. also, it's usually the same few cops patrolling the area and i see them all the time. last year the cop making most of the rounds was irish, now it's english cops for some reason : )

went to the soccer fields next door to the lake and found my way to the third field at the back and looked up and lo and behold there were the goal posts gathered together off field, two of which were apart just enough to give me my special setup for hooking up my bags and doing my pull up routine. they bend a bit under the weight but are uniform in shape and are wider than the branches of my special tree by the lake, which i look forward to returning to btw. had to cop a wood crate for a boost which i stashed in the bushes

i know the cops are pressing, usually overstepping a bit, but i just be nice. i like how one time these random cops came by and (looked like a trainee was along) and throughout the conversation with me the one cop kept repeatedly asking me if that was my lunch on the picnic table which i always just responded to with 'yes'. by the fifth time he asked, my 'yes' was getting bordline strained/sarcastic but i knew he was just trying to get me to break. only thing i do is smoke cannabis before every workout/run so i still watch out for them when i light up

the uk cops have been nice though

Yeah I always love when they ask you the same question to see if you trip up to find a lie.

i actually am only going up by 0.5g increments now not 2%, but if i get conditioned to the 0.5g increases i will switch to adding 2% of total weight. so basically i went 3-4 months adding a fixed 108g every day, and now every day the amount i add increases by 0.5g. the first day i increased by 0.5g i immediately felt it but am getting through the routines fine without compromising form. currently at 128g/day

so i guess i realized i need to progressively overload the progressive overload
